The best thing this hotel has going for it is the view to the bay. The service was just ok. We got ignored a lot. I had the Clam Chowder which should have wowed me considering it was made from scratch and we r in Boston but it was just ok. I've had better in Tx! It came with bread... More

While it may be a bit touristy, Joe's was the perfect choice for us as we explored Boston's waterfront. The food was good and the service was great. The menu offered a wide array of options.

Joe's bar and grill is a great place for dinner. Pretty romantic if you want to take your girlfriend out for dinner. Their tuna tartare with chips is amazing. We also had the Cure burger which is a bomb burger. Wish they added more fries. The location is great on the seaport! Recommended

We asked for a table near the water as they were EMPTY. Respond was 90 min wait Can't stand when restaurants try to create the appearance of fullness when it is clear they are not

We have been going to Joe's at this location for over 10 years now and it seems as though the food has been consistently pretty good but the service is unpredictable (they are not understaffed...in fact, at times, it seemed as though the staff were at a loss for what to do.) I am not sure why this is but... More

We stopped here for cocktails before dinner. We sat at the bar and could see the water over our shoulder-- so that was ok. Drinks were ok-- nothing really special. Ok service but not blown away since it was so quiet. We didn't eat here --

We went for a casual brunch on a saturday in June. Very good service. Server went out of his way for my daughter bringing her more peaches for her pancakes. Loved the egg white omelette. Good strong coffee.

We were here on the 4th of July. The place was packed so we sat a high-tops in the bar area with some friends. We had couple of drinks and then some of our kids joined us. They ordered food. The bartender shift change and the order was lost. We ordered food and it came out in a reasonable amount... More

Sat next to the harbour on a lovely sunny day. We only wanted drinks, but they said we had to order food too if we wanted to sit outside. The Belly pork appetizer was amazing, as was the espresso martini.

Thank D O

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
