My family has been coming here for over 10 years and it's always been consistent and 100% traditional and absolutely delicious! you won't find a better roti spot than this!

The vegetarian roti here, with all of the fixings, is one of my favorite meals in the whole world! The staff is super friendly and the you get huge portions for very little money. Make sure to try a banana soda, too!

Ali's roti are fabulous, and that is said without hesitation or qualification. Everyone who wants great Roti should get them at Ali's. The drawbacks are that this is really a takeout restaurant, and that parking near the restaurant is very difficult. The best way around this problem is to call ahead with your order, and drive there with two people.... More

The good: Great roti, great hot sauce. The less than good: I wish the place was a little nicer inside. Also, the only roti shop I've ever been in that didn't have cricket on TV.

I have become more of frequent visitor within the last year. Depending on the time you go you may have to wait in line for a little while. I like the fact that when I order my Vegetarian Roti I don't have to be concerned that meat products have contaminated my food because everything is cooked separately in their designated... More

This place is a must visit if you are in town, or live in Boston. Everything is delicious! But the goat bus-up-shop, with pumpkin, green beans, potato and chana sides is a must try!!!! OOHHH WEE!!!!

Firstly the restaurant is really a take out joint with simple places for you to eat if you desire. However it has great authentic curries and roti. The lady owner that served me was extremely friendly and helpful in explaining all the different dishes that were available. I settled for a take out of the goat, boneless chicken and beef... More

Have been going to Ali's for almost 20 years, and the food has been consistently delicious every single time. Roti, Bus Up Shot, and all the fixings. My personal favorites are the curry potatoes, Chana, and pumpkin. Delectable combination of sweet and savory! Totally worth the parking challenges of Mattapan!

It's really good. I've had the veggie roti and shrimp roti. They are both delicious. The hot pepper is extremely hot.

I live in New Mexico and when I'm in Boston I head to Ali's for a Roti. I know seafood is king in Boston but it is the Roti I crave. Each vegetable and meat has a distinct flavor and texture so indigenous to island curries. The serving portions are very generous, the roti wrap is absolutely delicious and the... More
