Newish place, clean and good atmosphere. Great bar, interesting beer choices, staff will kindly let you sample before ordering. Best deal: $1 oysters on M-F from 3 to 6pm. However, unfortunately, the food needs to get better for this place to survive. Very average hamburger...for $12; grilled chicken burger, $13, had a very soggy bottom -- and the chicken was raw in places. My complaint was not taken seriously, as they charged full price, and without apology. They cannot afford to continue in this direction; they must work harder for repeat customers!More

Average for service and food. The food is overpriced for what you get. One person at our table ordered the spinach salad. It came with a tablespoon of diced peppers and onions at the bottom of the bowl. That was it. After asking for a...water refill one person at our table received a refill, not the other empty glasses. Will not be returning.More

Came here recently for brunch - we decided on Savin Bar + Kitchen since it was close to the T and on the way towards our afternoon plans of going to Carson Beach. It was not crowded at all when we went and the service...was quick and very friendly. No overly fancy brunch things on the menu - just a nice, reasonably priced brunch in a welcoming and quiet atmosphere. I like the large windows and spacious atmosphere - and the food was good and hit the spot!More

Party of six seated quickly in this cool neighborhood restaurant. Everyone was pleased with their food and I highly recommend the stuffed French toast.

A group of coworkers and myself were in the area after a day long conference and wandered over, never having been before. The cocktails were delicious, and so was the food. We were waited on by the owner, who was pleasant and friendly. Now I...wish I lived closer so I could visit again; luckily, it is right near the T so I could take a trip down sometime.More

We stopped for cocktails and appetizers. The drinks were great. The bartender was friendly and made a the drinks according to our recipe. The atmosphere was very pleasant. It rained the day we were there and the place warmed us up literally and figuratively with...their friendly staff. We liked it so much, we went back for brunch the next day. The food was delicious. We shared the crab cake benedict without ham and they served it on two separate plate. We will return.More

Happened upon this restaurant for breakfast during our stay in Boston. Very pleased with the menu and the service. Seated promptly (for a Saturday morning!). Typical breakfast choices served with a twist. The stuffed french toast was delicious and their pancakes are very good as...well. All eggs orders were prepared exactly as requested. Nice sized portions. Will definitely return.More
