After reading through some Trip Advisor reviews, the 4 of us decided to have an early dinner here. The only down side was having to give our phone number at 4:30pm to be on a waitlist and the wait ended up being well over an...More

In a rating system of 1 to 5, Carmelina's deserves a 15!. No question about it. We are from Portland, Oregon where we take fantastic food for granted. We don't have to go out of town for a great meal. My wife and I are...More

This was my third time at this delightful tiny Italian restaurant in the North End. As always the food was superb. Pasta is made fresh and the portions are quite generous. Kudos to Anthony! Anthony is filled with passion and commitment to making every customer...More

It was a busy dinnertime, and we felt rushed by the staff. Not a great start! And, frankly, none of us loved our individual meals. The veal limone was disappointing in its texture...it was too smooshy and not enough flavor. The other meals at the...More

The place is cute and tiny! So don't forget to make a reservation. We went on a Wednesday night at 7 (with a reservation) and it was full. Bread was warm and yummy with the XVOO/Balsamic mixture for dipping. I ordered the Sunday Sauce combo,...More

Description
Intimate Italian dining in the North End. Large open front overlooking all the action on Hanover St, the main street in the North End. Marble tables, brick walls, large Black and White photos of the family in Sicily. This is truly like taking a trip to an Italian restaurant in a little Italian village. The menu offers a combination of the styles of the Chef / Owner's family, and modern inspiration and applications. We are always striving to keep our food fresh, flavorful and true to our culinary traditions.
