I enjoyed the food and atmosphere. My adult son enjoyed the many TV screens with a variety of sport. None were intrusive for us not facing them. My pizza was excellent, as was burger and ravioli. Service was also very good. If I had taken...note of other reviews I perhaps would not have tried this place. So glad I did.More

Rocco's is an okay, loud bar in the North end of Boston where there are many better places. The free bread was very good. The garden salad was huge and fresh. But the pizza was wet on top and not appetizing. Later that night, the...three of us felt ill and attributed it to the margherita pizza. We would not return. There are stairs required to get to the rest rooms.More

Busy, lively pub/restaurant. Nice nachos, big portions, just nice. Lots of televisions on with different programs, glass of wine expensive as everywhere in Boston, but atmosphere good.

We stopped over some drinks at this bar and wanted to have just drinks. The waitress gave such a frowning face because her tip will not add up if we are not ordering more. Such a pathetic feeling to be sitting there and feeling u...welcomed.More

Visiting Boston to see relatives and some of the sites. We were covering parts of Freedom Trail, more walking past sites to see along the trail than visiting sites. Came across this bar and at the time I was thinking bar food is often quite...good. Was not disappointed. My cousin, girlfriend, and I took up barstools and the barkeep was quite friendly to us. We were able to get some drinks and ordered clam chowder to go with them. Nice serving size and the overall bill was not that high for drinks and food. Overall, a nice find of a local bar.More

Found this place after exploring a bit (we are not from the area), and decided to give it a chance after liking the menu outside. We were welcomed by the friendliest hostess ever, who gave us a table which was partially outside on a beautiful...evening. Our server was exactly as friendly and welcoming as our hostess. All I could say was "I love Boston! Is this how everyone is?" (it was my first time in Boston, and this was a wonderful welcome!). The food was delicious! I ordered the gnocchi (my server suggested it when I asked her, and I am so glad), my husband ordered the lobster roll, and my daughter the chicken marsala..I tried all three and wow. perfect all around!! We had leftovers for my daughter to bring home to her new apartment down the road. When in Boston again, I will come back here!!More

Walking around and we spotted this place across the street, we received welcoming service from the minute we walked through the door. Husband had the lobster ravioli special and I had Chicken Marcela. Both were delicious! Great place to stop and it wasn’t extremely busy...(at least when we were there).More

I've been twice to Rocco's this week just because the service is so good. You are made to feel extremely welcome from the start, then to top it off the food is excellent.... highly recommend the mixed grill. All washed down with a selection of...great beersMore

We were starving and found Rocco's while walking in cold weather we are definitely not used to (20-25 degrees F). The place has great ambiance and some clients were getting ready to watch a big game later that night. Good music, nice setting. The appetizers...were very good and the Stuffed Eggplant I order as my main meal was delicious. We are not from the area but would love to go back if visiting Boston again.More

I came in hear at the suggestion of a gentlemen walking by who looked like a relaxed 30 something. Initally it feels intimate but still spacious and the prices are great for the area. The food looked and smelled lovely and was presented in an...unpretentious way. I met all of the staff by my 2-3rd wine and they were amazing. The chef even came out because he knew someone from where I had come from. I also had the silliness to leave one of my shopping bags in the bar and the bar arranged to have it delivered to my hotel which was fab!More
