Great food, great beer, and a nice atmosphere. Across the street from Fenway Park. A great place to watch a game too.

Stopped for lunch with some co-workers after a customer meeting. Walked right in and not crowded. Waitress was pleasant and prompt. Offered specials and came back with our lunch drinks quickly. Ordered the buffalo chicken wrap, co-workers ordered the chicken stir fry. Both were just average food tasting and quantity. However, if you are there for the beer, they have... More

My wife and I came here before going to see the Red Sox vs Yankees game on Friday night. The game started at 7 and we were down in the area by 4:30 and it was already a huge party. Every bar/ restaurant was completely full with an hour wait but we decided to put our name in. It ended... More

This is a great brew pub to go to before a Sox game. They have a large variety of really good home-made beers . it is a zoo before the sox game, but if you like beer you won't be disappointed. The food is only so-so, but compared to the overpriced garbage that they call food at Fenway, it is... More

Stopped in for some beer & a bite to eat before the Fenway Park tour. We were the first (and for a good period the only) guests of the day so initial service was a little slow. Tried a flight of beers with my wife having a pint of another, all were top notch. Food was average, oyster tacos had... More

Everybody is busy on game day, but fans seem to flock to this location a few hours before. A solid selection of brews that they craft themselves.

Usually, my buddies and I meet at BBW about 5:30P for a couple pints before crossing the street to Fenway. But, on any first-night of the place's new offerings, we stay for the beer and watch the game on the big screen. Watermelon or peach ale in the summer is the best. UNLESS (there's that word again!) you favor pumpkin... More

Had a nice cold beer here after walking to Fenway Park. It wasn't a game day so there were plenty of seats. Air-conditioning was a welcome relief from the heat.

Let me tell you, if you are going to a Sox game and want the full experience, head down early and grab a spot at the Beerworks. What an amazing experience! We sampled a number of appetizers (definitely get the chowder) and our fair share of beers (they were all top shelf) and we would 100% go back again regardless... More

Staying in Fenway / Kenmore

Neighborhood Profile
Fenway / Kenmore
The Curse of the Bambino may have ended years ago, but loyal Red Sox fans will continue to infiltrate this home to historic Fenway Park, where you can find victory banners, people yelling in stereotypical Boston accents, and lots of sports bars. Located within Kenmore Square, the old gas station Citgo sign is another Boston skyline classic seen throughout the city. In addition to a hectic and diehard sports mentality, this neighborhood is also home to some of Boston’s many universities. Move from Boston University territory to that of Northeastern, and spend time at the famous Museum of Fine Arts. For more culture, check out the smaller but equally beautiful Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Continue off the beaten path and check out the green space in the Back Bay Fens, a pretty community garden. This diverse neighborhood has a mix of universities, sports, culture, and more residential green space.
