Despite the odd smell, because of the brewery, this is a busy place. The food was alright, but I had to ask for a fresh portion of sweet potato fries as the first lot with my salmon burger were cold, these were replaced very quickly. The pull of this place, must be the choice of beers and the sports shown... More

The original and best Beer Works opposite Fenway Park is everything a brew pub should be. Busy, buzzing, great beer, both regular and seasonal, fun food, happy staff and loads of atmosphere. The Blueberry Ale (with real blueberries behaving like a lava lamp) is world class.

Great selection of beers so don't have that bud light crap in the ground, stop here first. Fill up on good bar snacks too, save the silly costs in the ground. Friendly bar staff as always.

We popped in for some beers while a game was going on. Great atmosphere and loads of tvs to take in the action without being in the stadium or paying through the nose for a ticket. Grab yourself a beer flight and sample some of the great beers brewed on the premises. Recommended for the beer abd baseball fan !

This place is huge! Great place to sit back and catch a ball game on one of it many TVs. Their beer selection is solid. I had the Chico Wit ale with some tuna tacos and it was a refreshing and filling. The bartender recommended the Big Boy ale if you are a hops kind of person.

Wife, daughter, partner and I had dinner there before a night Red Sox game. The place was packed, loud and exciting. Nice selection of draft and bottled beer. Had one of their IPAs and it was great.Menu is typical "bar" food. My burger was a decent size, hand patted, and cooked just right. Wife's haddock sandwich was tasty and not... More

Stopped in while waiting for a Fenway tour. The bartender was very unfriendly. Would probably have stopped back after tour for supper but went elsewhere after the treatment we received just trying to get a few beers. Everywhere we went in Boston the locals were very friendly and helpful.

Great food, great beer, and a nice atmosphere. Across the street from Fenway Park. A great place to watch a game too.

Staying in Fenway / Kenmore

Neighborhood Profile
Fenway / Kenmore
The Curse of the Bambino may have ended years ago, but loyal Red Sox fans will continue to infiltrate this home to historic Fenway Park, where you can find victory banners, people yelling in stereotypical Boston accents, and lots of sports bars. Located within Kenmore Square, the old gas station Citgo sign is another Boston skyline classic seen throughout the city. In addition to a hectic and diehard sports mentality, this neighborhood is also home to some of Boston’s many universities. Move from Boston University territory to that of Northeastern, and spend time at the famous Museum of Fine Arts. For more culture, check out the smaller but equally beautiful Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Continue off the beaten path and check out the green space in the Back Bay Fens, a pretty community garden. This diverse neighborhood has a mix of universities, sports, culture, and more residential green space.
