Friend and I stopped in and had a few beers - before it was gone I tried their Barleywine - was a little surprised as it's not often I come across a barelywine I don't like; it just didn't have any body and was heavier on the hopps than probably necessary (but some people might like that). I also tried... More

Stopped by for lunch after touring Fenway Park. Our sandwiches and wings were okay but nothing special. The waitress was pleasant and prompt, however the kitchen was slow, it took quite a while to get our food even though they were not busy.

Been a while since I visited. Recently returned whilst staying at the Verb over Christmas. Wasn't really disappointed. Great beer for me and the kids loved the burgers and massive nachos to start. Did I mention how good the beer was?

We stopped in here while out exploring Boston one day. My husband and I really enjoyed the food especially the chowder. We both enjoyed the beer and the prices were decent!

We stopped here to eat before a concert at the HOB. This place brews their own beer and it is FANTASTIC! The seasonals and the wit were great. We started with an order of chicken nachos (we had a 1/2 order which was more than enough for the two of us). They were great, and the guacamole was fresh and... More

Service was slow and rather poor. When I asked the waitress what the soup of the day was, she replied, "I don't know. Something that looks gross." The French fries were good, but the rest of the food was average at best. My vodka blueberry lemonade tasted like cough syrup. I recommend going somewhere else.

Great selection of beers, loved the blueberry ale that came with real blueberries floating in it. The pumpkin beer was delicious! The food was well done as well, I have no complaints about this place. Our waiter was friendly & fast.

We have visited this place three times during our time in Boston and had a great experience each time. We were lucky enough to have Tim as our server twice and her treated us well both times. Tim was spot on with his beer and food recommendations. If you are near Fenway, stop in and see Tim and let him... More

Staying in Fenway / Kenmore

Neighborhood Profile
Fenway / Kenmore
The Curse of the Bambino may have ended years ago, but loyal Red Sox fans will continue to infiltrate this home to historic Fenway Park, where you can find victory banners, people yelling in stereotypical Boston accents, and lots of sports bars. Located within Kenmore Square, the old gas station Citgo sign is another Boston skyline classic seen throughout the city. In addition to a hectic and diehard sports mentality, this neighborhood is also home to some of Boston’s many universities. Move from Boston University territory to that of Northeastern, and spend time at the famous Museum of Fine Arts. For more culture, check out the smaller but equally beautiful Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Continue off the beaten path and check out the green space in the Back Bay Fens, a pretty community garden. This diverse neighborhood has a mix of universities, sports, culture, and more residential green space.
