Let me tell you, if you are going to a Sox game and want the full experience, head down early and grab a spot at the Beerworks. What an amazing experience! We sampled a number of appetizers (definitely get the chowder) and our fair share of beers (they were all top shelf) and we would 100% go back again regardless... More

We went before a Sunday Red Sox game. Get there early! They were incredibly busy, but the service was fast and on top of things. Food and drinks came out quick. Loved trying all the different craft beers. Would definitely recommend it!

This is directly across the street from Fenway Park so draws a huge crowd before games. If you want to eat, plan on getting there way ahead of time or you will wait a while for a table. The wait staff is crazy busy but very efficient and managed everything very well. We did wait for a table so tried... More

Great place to eat prior to a bruins game. Right across the street. I recommend the steak tips with garlic mash. Very good micro beers, wide selection.

This is right across the street from Fenway and a good place to pre game or post game. Love the chicken nachos and anything they put on cask release. The Brewers know their craft and put out a variety of beers to fit quite a few palates. The interior is very cool and industrial with the brew Equiment front and... More

I spent three weeks and Boston for business and, hands down, this was my favorite meal during my stay. I had the coconut scallops which was absolutely amazing and their watermelon beer is very satisfying. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a casual atmosphere, great Micro brew, sporting events, and the location near Fenway Park. Thanks for... More

Went to the beer works after a sox game on July 23rd. Got a seat quickly, as is fairly normal if you are ordering food. They do not want drinkers to take up all the tables. Ordered some drinks and food, and over the next 25 minutes watched people get seated around us, and watched them receive their food before... More

We have quite a few craft brewing companies in Michigan. This one holds its own against my hometown craft brews.

We had originally planned to find Wahlburgers but were told it wasn't very good food and highly overpriced. We took the recommendation of several of our Fenway Tour guides and walked the short distance to Boston Beer Works. We both ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger with fries. I added gravy to my fries and my wife added chili to hers. The... More

Potato Spring Rolls are the best! Lots of other great food choices all done well. So many great choices of beers. Watermelon and Blueberry beers in the summertime are great choices, but there are many more!

Staying in Fenway / Kenmore

Neighborhood Profile
Fenway / Kenmore
The Curse of the Bambino may have ended years ago, but loyal Red Sox fans will continue to infiltrate this home to historic Fenway Park, where you can find victory banners, people yelling in stereotypical Boston accents, and lots of sports bars. Located within Kenmore Square, the old gas station Citgo sign is another Boston skyline classic seen throughout the city. In addition to a hectic and diehard sports mentality, this neighborhood is also home to some of Boston’s many universities. Move from Boston University territory to that of Northeastern, and spend time at the famous Museum of Fine Arts. For more culture, check out the smaller but equally beautiful Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Continue off the beaten path and check out the green space in the Back Bay Fens, a pretty community garden. This diverse neighborhood has a mix of universities, sports, culture, and more residential green space.
