Loved all their dishes the first time so we went again in our 2nd trip to Boston a few weeks later. Best drink was their fresh lemonade. They had a fantastic expresso creme brule which we shared 3 ways as I don't usually indulge in desserts. Would have this one again for sure. All the items we tried were freshly... More

Brown Sugar is sooo good! It's a big spot and has a good amount of seating. The menu is friendly to everyone, including people allergic to gluten. Food is decent. We got tod munm, spicy jamaica, drunken noodle, and brown sugar duck. Loved the tod munn!! Loved brown sugar duck too - skin is crispy but meat is still tender.

Many Thai restaurants in the U.S. are becoming Americanized and less interesting in my opinion. Brown Sugar is better than most of the Thai restaurants that I have sampled over the past five years. The Brown Sugar fresh rolls were almost a meal and the masaman curry was tasty and not too spicy. Its difficult to really evaluate a restaurant... More

This was our second visit. This place was more authentic than most Thai restaurants in Boston area. However this time we felt the Thai spices have been tempered down. The green curry was very mild. I guess they want you to add the spices provided on the table. Food is still very tasty and aromatic. Avoid the pad Thai because... More

Great place to visit after graduation. Birthday celebrations are a surprise to enjoy. Delicious fried rice served in a pineapple is pictured.

Went out to eat at Brown Sugae Cafe recently because my husband and I, along with another couple, were going to see The Kills at The Paradise just a few doors down. Turned out to be the best decision. Not only was it convenient, the food was some of the best Thai I have ever had and the service was... More

For a relaxing Thai meal in Beantown with attentive staff check out this place. The ginger salmon curry, roast duck curry, Panaag Curry and Three Stoodges are all wonderful. Each dish packs flavor, color and spice with each mouthful. We enjoy pairing the brown rice. Safe room for the tasty mango sticky rice!
