Talk about starting off poorly, and finishing strong. We had reservations 2 weeks in advance of our dinner. We arrived about 5 minutes early and the Hostess "Brin" escorted us to the far corner of the restaurant. I asked if we could sit closer to...the bar in one of the High tables as we prefer not to eat elbow to elbow with others. She walked over to to the table we wanted, put the menus down and walked away in a huff. We were both shocked and almost walked out. It picked up from there. Our waiter Joe was amazing as was the food. Best spaghetti I have ever had and we have been all over Italy. The Crispy pork chop was amazing as well. My wife had the Gnocchi “a la Bolognese”, and she rated it "o.k.". It was too bad that the evening started off so poorly as it kind of made it the focus of the evening and when we talk about the evening the bad part inevitably comes up. I did mention the rudeness to the manager and he seemed unfazed by my comments. He said he was glad I brought it to his attention, but offered no apology.More

This is a place you must visit if you are in Boston and love Italian food. We always make this part of our weekend. Our server Efran was simply wonderful and made my birthday celebration one to remember. I indulged in two appetizers (baked clams...with sausage and steak tartare), both were outstanding. I followed with the Fish Stew which has many types of seafood without any pasta. My wife enjoyed Crispy Shrimp for her appetizer and Scallops for her entree. Thank you for such an enjoyable evening!!More

Prezza was a delightful dining experience with my mother and aunt. Our waiter, Al was friendly, fun, and recommended all the right dishes! I ordered the grilled branzino as my main entree, and every bite was a flavorful experience. This was by far the table’s...favorite too! My family ordered the gnocchi and the special, which was tagliatelle with truffles. I would go back and adventure to other items on this menu, since I am certain every dish would be delicious.More

We enjoyed the buzzing, friendly, professional service at Prezza. Our waiter was charming, old school professional; attentive and efficient. I ordered the halibut which was a hearty size of perfectly cooked fresh fish with a delicious mixture of purée and lightly fried veg. My dining...partner ordered the shrimp pasta which was flavourful and cooked to perfection. This popular North end restaurant didn’t disappoint and has definitely become our favourite in the neighbourhood.More

Had a lovely meal here one evening and the food was spot on. Service was slow (we weren't in a hurry) but basically average and a bit harried as if they were understaffed. Wine list was painfully overpriced for what it was but that is...common with most restaurants these days as they try to make up profits - it's an easy one to add a few dollars onto. Would highly recommend to try.More

(I’ll preface this by saying the both diners are Italian, and one is pretty picky!). For the most part over the past couple of years, dining out has been just OK. Food is expensive and often suboptimal, and staff is short in numbers, stretched thin...and unhappy. More often than not, I have felt ripped off. But not at Prezza! We stumbled on Prezza quite by accident, but what a find. Although we did not have a reservation, we were able to get a table for two. The staff was wonderful but our server, Ephraim, was outstanding. He has worked at Prezza for over 20 years and is a wealth of knowledge. He was attentive and always helpful. He really listened, and his recommendations were perfect. Lovely presentations with the food. One of us had the branzino and the other, halibut over chive risotto. I have to say, the risotto was one of the best things I have ever eaten! Dessert was the white chocolate bread pudding and the cannoli with cookies. I'll avoid more superlatives, but let’s say they were the perfect end to a wonderful meal. The atmosphere was just right - cozy and welcoming and well as clean and neat, even the restroom! (My mother always said that if the restroom is clean, the kitchen is clean). Noise level was good - conversations were easy. I wish I had some photos, but we were so caught up in the experience, it didn't occur to us! If you find yourself in the North End, add Prezza to your must-visit list!More

We were looking for a great Italian restaurant that wasn’t too touristy and stumbled in while walking by before they got busy. We were so lucky! Great atmosphere, our waiter spoke fluid Italian and made great recommendations. My husband and I split the beef tartare...and clams…amazing!!! Then we ordered the meatballs with homemade paperdelle pasta, the whole dish was hearty and delicious and the sauce on point! Highly recommend!More

Amazing food, attentive staff and white linen tablecloths make for a wonderful experience. The tables are a little tight, and we got seated in a corner very close to two gentlemen when much of the establishment was empty, but the food definitely made up for...it. My granddaughter had the seafood soup and I had the rigatoni, both of which were amazing.More

My adult daughters and I go away for an overnight to Boston to celebrate their mom and my first wife's life. This was an amazing meal from start to finish, we had 4 appetizers for the 3 of us and then our dinners. I could...hardly move when we were done. We had the beef tartare, roasted clams with sausage, mozz with prosciutto and octopus and squid roasted. We each had a dinner featuring homemade pasta. It was a PERFECT evening. Thank you!!More

Really appreciated how hospitable the service was at Prezza; we made a last minute change to our reservation of 10 and they were easily able to accommodated. We ordered 10 different meals and all of us said we weren't that hungry - by the end...of the meal we all had empty plates the food was so good! Awesome experience :)More

Food underwhelming. Service was abysmal. Waiter was borderline hostile for no apparent reason. So much so that I found myself compensating by be overly overly nice. So strange. Multiple alternatives out there for great Italian.

The web site states the restaurant abides by all state and local Covid restrictions. When no on asked for our proof of vaccination they scoffed, Saints it’s up to the owner. I said it’s the law in Boston, they ridiculed me. While dining no male...server wore his mask above his chin, all were pulled down. Female servers wore their masks correctly. If you think you will be safe here, don’t go, don’t count on their diceptive Web siteMore

Their classic dishes are always the same high quality: Wood Grilled Octopus/Squid & Braised Short Rib. For the Pasta dish I usually go with the Bolognese but they had Chestnut Raviolini with pulled duck - Delicious. It's all about the sauce! For our main course...we had the Veal Porterhouse and the special, Venison. All with wonderful Italian wines. We love to start with a Negroni. The Manager David attends to all the detail and always steers me in the right direction with the Vino. Our server and the wait staff were top notch. There was a happy, festive buzz in the air!More
