With an intimate atmosphere and sound level where you can hear your dining companion, this is an fine choice for dining. We had an excellent meal with great service at Mamma Maria's. I started with the artichoke salad, with a main entree of lobster ravioli...More

Mamma Maria’s is a wonderful restaurant. The food and the service is perfect, really. Be aware that there are steps inside the dark rooms. It can be tricky to negotiate if your eyes are adjusted to the outside light but then you get up and...More

Decided to have a nice Italian dinner in the north end. Mamma Maria is highly rated, in a very nice older building, on a quiet side street near Paul Revere's house. The food and service were both good. It was a bit more formal than...More

Food was great, top quality ingredients. Nice to eat at an Italian place that focuses on dishes other than standard red sauce on pasta! Restaurant and whole north end area is just wonderful.

A quaint restaurant near Paul Revere’s House - cool location. The service is very personable. I found the food to be average.

Lovely ambience. Attentive wait staff. Delicious food. Not on main drag in North End so nice and quiet outside open windows with flower boxes- delightful!

We had a wonderful meal. The host was very friendly. It’s a really lovely place with multiple small dining rooms so you never feel crowded or like you’re in a huge place. The food arrive very quickly and was delicious.

We just dropped in for a late lunch and we were not disappointed. The food and service were great! I had the special and my friend had lasagne. Both were amazing!
