The service at L'Espalier is phenomenal! This includes the parking valet, the greeters in the lobby, the wait staff -- everyone. The food was inventive and delicious and included many "freebies" in the form of amuse bouches, cookies, and candy.

We had a wonderful dining experience here. We were nestled into a corner table. Every bite was delicious. Having eaten at L'Espalier many times in both locations, I can only say that the experience remains one of the best in Boston for culinary excellence!

Recently went to L'espalier and found that, while some of the food was fresh and thoughtfully prepared and the wait staff were overall attentive and kind, the restaurant expects its patrons to be up to par with their elite and exclusive (extreme? ) menu and...More

Marked as our only fine dining meal for our trip to Boston. We had the degustation menu for dinner with combinations of wine and juice pairings. Everything was spot on. Service was outstanding, the kitchen staff was very accommodating about food allergies and dislikes, and...More

Can't fault the quality of the food, but the portions were skimpy for the price. Cheese course excellent (there is even a separate cheese menu). Desert wines & port horribly overpriced. Service good, but not outstanding.

The food at L'Espalier is beyond reproach. We chose the six course Spring Degustation menu and it was delicious. At $110 per person it's far from inexpensive but for the quality of the food and variety of the dishes it was worth it, even if...More

A fantastic dining experience. I had made reservations months in advance in order to celebrate my daughter's graduate school graduation, so upon arrival, she was greeted by everyone with a 'Congratulations!' Everything from the intensely delicious appetizers through the incomparable cheese plate was perfectly prepared...More

Lovely six course dinner at L'Espalier. Every course was delicious and we choose the 4 part wine pairing with our dinner. The dining room is lovely and we had a table for two by the window. Great service, good vibe, and easy to talk to...More

Highly inventive, top quality produce, great wines and prices to match. On the occasion of our 10-yr wedding anniversary, we went for the whole 10-course extravaganza + wine pairings and it was flawless. Mast time we were there was 8 years ago and I must...More
