Overall the food was good. We had the haddock special and they allowed a substitute of rice for broccoli for me without issue but man it took forever to get food. Our server offered a sorry and kept telling us it was coming and it finally did but it took a long time. The food was warm and well cooked... More

We went here because LSF had been highly recommended. Had to send the Calamari back twice.... It was still chewy....Crab stuffed Haddock was dry.... so we were not impressed this time...The wine was superb though, so, maybe we will try again..

Had some arctic char with a wine flight, tasted just like I remember in Iceland. Good wine to choose from as well and girlfriend loved the bread they served before the meal. Nice place.

We had the lobster roll at Legal seafood and enjoyed the portion size and the service. Plenty of Lobster not to much Mayo. my wife had it steamed and she also was also pleased. We enjoy going to the one near the Prudential center.

This was recommended as a good place to get fresh seafood. I can confirm that the food is fantastic, flavoursome and cooked to perfection. The service from Cameron was outstanding, he was not too casual, not too formal, and found the perfect level of interaction with a family who were tired after a day of travelling.

We went here because it was close to our hotel and figured seafood in Boston should be a slam dunk. Pretty ho hum especially considering the hype they have on the history of Legal Sea Food and the restaurant. Food was okay, nothing to write home about, service pretty inattentive. We had the seafood casserole and crab cake combo(with grilled... More

Went there randomly walking around the wharf. Food was good, although felt service a bit disorganised, but friendly...

Located in Copley Square, this Legal Seafood has a nice location. The food was well prepared. I had fried oysters which were tasty. The Seafood Casserole was very good, but is filling. Of course the steamed lobster is superb. The view of downtown is very nice and the service was good.

Ate here twice during our trip. Both times the food was very good but the service is average. It's more like they are more concerned with turning the tables over, than ensuring your dining experience is memorable.

Staying in Back Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
