We made a reservation to be on the safe side. We arrived at 7 pm for our reservation. When we got there we were pleasantly greeted by a wonderful Italian man. At first we thought the restaurant was small but it extends through the back...More

We did not have a reservation but the restaurant was able to accommodate us. Really good food. Ambiance was perfect. We sat on the 3rd level and it was cozy. I love it! I had the chicken parm. and it was really good.

Very low key from the front. Walk in and up a flight of stairs and perhaps another flight down. You could be in a scene from Goodfellas but without the flash. Waitstaff was professional, not pushy and never made you feel rushed. Waistaff covered for...More

The good news is that the seafood is good. Their octopus in a caper and olive sauce was delicious, and reasonably priced. My wife's clams in spaghetti sauce was also good; the fried calamari were so-so. The problem was that there we saw about four...More

This place will never make any "trendiest restaurants" lists. And its name will not ring any bells with foodies looking for celebrity-chef eateries. And that's exactly what makes it so great: a homespun, owner-run (Frank's been standing watch forever) place with absolutely delicious food, and...More

We were a bit skeptical of the lunch specals (at only $8.95), but were pleasantly surprised at the generous quantities and superior flavors! We always like to see table linens and pleasant service, both on at Saraceno.

In Boston for work. Needed a great place to eat. This is in NorthEnd, Boston's "Little Italy". The food here is simply outstanding. Authentic Italian server, small cosy space, with about 15 tables. Had spaghetti vongole (clams) with red sauce and spicy. It was perfect....More

Tough to pick a spot in the busy north end of Boston. Lots of choices and some very long lines at small restaurants. Saraceno was busy, but no wait for a table and the menu looked good and a bit more interesting than neighboring Italian...More

Haven't been here in a while, but I was totally psyched that this was the same old place. Back in the day, for me the early nineties, the Mussels and sauteed mushrooms were outstanding. I'm happy to report they still are wonderful! Veal Roman style,...More

being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and
Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants,
bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part
in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or
Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma
sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s
