My wife and I on a recommendation from a friend, ate at Fire and Ice - it was FANTASTIC. All you can eat (less dessert and drinks) for $19 - a take on Mongolian BBQ. You select your food - vegetables, pasta, meats, sauces etc. - and take them to a large round grill station (see the attached picture). They... More

Our family of 4 adults visited for the first time while on vacation. We went on a Tues night prior to seeing Blue Man Group. The concept sounds fun, the reality was much different. They have meats, vegetables, rice, pasta, sauces and spices to choose from. You take a bowl and put everything in it, including your raw meat. You... More

Fire and Ice is 50% about the food and 50% about the fun. This is not the type of place you would go to each week for your usual. It is a great place to go if your not quite sure what you want to eat. They have a wide selection of food choices. When combined with all of the... More

We had booked the table in advance for 8 PM on Saturday. We reached at the reception counter there on time and had to wait for about 12 minutes for table to be ready. We were then taken upstairs and from there to a table. We could see a full-fledged bar besides the reception counter with a big screen TV... More

We enjoyed dinner at Fire and Ice. The food was fresh and the variety was good. They had hotdogs and hamburgers as well as a huge variety of meats, vegetables, pasta, rice and seasonings. Service was good and it was fun to watch your food be cooked in front of you. It does get a little bit loud when crowded.

This restaurant was pretty much what I expected. I had heard that it was not great food considering the cost, but we all thought the food was decent, and we had fun! I don't think you can really go wrong with an all-you-can-eat, as long as you know what you're getting into. The staff was friendly and efficient, and everyone... More

I like it! Lots to choose from. Wish the cooks were friendlier and interacted a bit. Could encourage more/better tips for them! Food was delicious.

Visiting Boston and stumbled in. Build your own meal. Great concept and food. Looks like a nightclub at first. A must try.

Ok so great concept and we had a great experience. Food was great however we did feel it was overpriced. Why does a lunchtime menu cost $10.99 but then an evening menu which is the same costs $19.99. Our 13yr kids had one plate which wasnt massive, it was enough to fill them up but it was expensive. Maybe a... More

All you can eat buffet where you pick the ingredients, including protein, pasta, veggies and sauce, then put them in a big bowl, and watch the chefs fry them up in a giant round griddle. Creative and tasty at the same time. Long time favorite. Don't order appetizers! You don't need them

Staying in Back Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
