Hands down my favorite cafe in the Italian North End. Espresso is excellent, macchiato in a glass is a great alternative (and closest thing to an Italian sized cappuccino that you might find in the States!)

It has a fun, funky atmosphere. There are lots of tables so it’s a good place to take a break, get something to drink or eat. The gelato is very good.

After trying the usual large cannoli with varieties of heavy fillings at other bakeries, we find the mini ones with the light, fluffy filling here to be the best!

My wife and I stopped by for some gelato after a couple of hot hours on the Freedom Trail. We were hoping for some good authentic gelato in a not too touristy caffe. The atmosphere fit the bill. There were only a few patrons, so...More

Love the Expresso Martini and Pistachio Martini. Service was delightful, and both cocktails were tasty, did not feel diluted like in so many places and felt impeccable. My wife is an ex bartender and also greatly approved. The price was not out of line, particularly...More

Their gelato is very good, and their staff seemed to be as well...until...we were treated deplorably by a very rude staff member. When asking for the wifi password, she rolled it off of her tongue so fast (and garbled!) that she could have beat light...More

We stopped in after a great dinner and had espresso, latte, gelato and biscotti, all made very well and quite tasty. Nice place and offering some traditional specialties.

North End
Wandering around Boston’s North End can feel like
being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and
Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants,
bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part
in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or
Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma
sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s
home, and follow the Freedom Trail to Old North Church

Welcome to Caffe Paradiso, an authentic Italian caffe in Boston’s North End since 1962. It has truly been a privilege for us to bring a taste of Italy, day in and day out, to our Metropolitan and out-of-state patrons. Now managed by the third generation of our family, we still make our award-winning gelato fresh on the premises and have the best cannoli in Boston. Please stop by to savor the true “gusto” of our cappuccino, espresso, gelato or martini. We’re family run business with a deep Italian heritage.
