Met a friend for Sunday Brunch and was not disappointed. The restaurant was full but we had a reservation and were promptly seated. The server could not have been more helpful, she was clearly busy but took her time explaining very helpful menu options to us like "the Cinnamon Monkey bread is excellent however a lot to eat for two... Went here last night for a dinner our with some girlfriends after shopping. When we first walked in for our 6pm reservation there were 4 hostess' standing at the front. There were many tables open and waiters standing around. We asked if we could be seated early and were told "no, we will seat you closer to your 6pm reservation".... More

We ate at Stephanie's for lunch. Had hoped to get there for breakfast but didn't make it in time! (The French toast at the next table looked delicious though.) The service was great. We had the seasonal special Thanksgiving open face turkey sandwich and the chicken pot pie. The pot pie was smaller but still a good size. The turkey... More

Had dinner with a friend there recently. The waiter and staff were courteous. It was a rainy and cold evening, so I orfered comfort food - the mac and cheese . It came to the table almost immediately. Sadly I found it rather bland and tasteless. We then ordered coffee, it was lukewarm and tasted like it had been sitting in... More

I have eaten at this restaurant five different times and I keep going back for more! I have been for brunch, lunch, and dinner and I can say that all three meals were great. The food is absolutely delicious and the drinks are awesome too- great cocktails and brunch drinks like mimosas and Bloody Marys. The staff are all very... More

This restaurant is a WINNER !!! Food was delicious and well presented. My chicken salad was very good with plenty of large chunks of chicken and beautiful fresh lettuce. I would Highly Recommend this Place for Lunch or Dinner.

We arrived at Stefanie's on Newbury at about 4:45 so we were invited to order from the lunch menu. The acorn squash salad was very good, but not as good as I was hoping. The squash was slightly undercooked, so it wasn't as soft and carmelized as it should have been. Also the pepitas were not toasted enough making them... More

We were in Boston the night of the election and didn't want to watch everything unfold just sitting in our hotel , Stephanie's was nearby and we had a good time . We didn't eat , just had a couple of drinks my wife really enjoyed the cocktails . The bar area was busy and initially we couldn't get a... More

This is my first time visiting Stephanie's for Sunday brunch, and it was absolutely delicious! My friend and I shared the Cinnamon Monkey Bread - it was good but would even better if it was warm when it came to our table. I had the Frittered French Toast - I have never had anything like this! It was absolutely amazing,... More

I've been a customer of Stephanie's for quite a few years and my summation after Friday's visit is that the wait staff is not customer friendly or focused. The host was amazing, as she sat us immediately with a smile and awesome energy. It all ended there. Our server barely spoke to us, let alone smiled. When my martini came... More

Staying in Back Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
