I enjoyed a fantastic meal at Fiore on Hanover Street in the North End of Boston this past Sunday. Brandon, the bartender, was friendly and engaging as I waited for the rooftop dining area to open. He maintains a beautiful bar area on the first...floor, complete with a warm, cozy, Old World, "dark wood" feeling. The food was absolutely top rate. I started with the Baby Spinach and Beet salad with pancetta, mozarella cheese and balsamic vinaigrette dressing. When asked if I could substitute the goat cheese with mozarella, my waiter told me that it would, of course, be no problem I followed with the Gnocchi with Italian sausage, potato gnocchi, mushrooms, tomato and herbs in a white, cream, two cheese sauce. Absolutely mouth watering! I enjoy large portions and I was not disappointed. Upstairs on the roof deck Ryan went above and beyond in making my much awaited lunch a great success. He was courteous, checked in regularly to make sure I had everything I needed and was satisfied and had a friendly, outgoing demeanor. The weather was great and the sun kept me feeling warm and "Mediterranean". When the receipt from the register did not match the prices on the online menu by a small amount, the restaurant manager, Cynthia, apologized and issued me a gift card for $25.00 for my next visit! Lunching at Fiore was a very memorable and fun experience. I recommend the restaurant, its' decor, staff and top quality cuisine. Sincerely, Art Blackburn, Hyannis, MAMore

We were a party of 5 that arrived to the restaurant with a reservation and had to wait for our table for approximately 15 minutes. Went up to the second floor where our table was. Our waiter who was pleasant enough came over for a...drink order but it was a good 20-30 minutes before our drinks returned. Our waiter seemed to be covering the entire second floor alone. Drinks were great as were the appetizers of the antipasto and the arancini. We ordered dinner not seeing veal on the menu we asked and I ordered veal parmigiana as did my friend...it was nothing special and a little dry to my liking, another friend had lasagna which she called mediocre, the linguini with clams my husband had were well presented but were tasteless. Our other friend had lamb and said it was great! Only one of us had dessert which was very good. We would go back but only for appetizers and lambMore

Decent pasta but left parched due to indifferent service probably due to big party near us though the place was only 2/3 full. Visit was end of December so maybe the staff was on vaca or just worn out, though, who knows.

Excellent dinner here with friends! Service was amazing. Food here was great as well. Everyone at the table loved there dishes especially lasagna. It is a little pricier but comparable to area it’s on par with everywhere else. I’d definitely go back!

Had a reservation at Ristorante Saraceno. When we arrived about a dozen other people were standing outside in a line. All these people said they had reservations but had to wait so we checked with a person in the restaurant & she told us we...had to wait with everyone else😳 so obviously reservations are a joke there. We left after 45 mins. past our reservation time and wandered into Ristorante Fiore where we waited at the bar for 10 mins before they seated us. Our dinner & service was excellent there!More

We were looking for a good Italian lunch on Hanover and discovered that many of the places that had been recommended to us were only open for dinner. Fiore was open and inviting. We were greeted warmly and were promptly served an excellent wine and...tasty bread. Our main courses followed and we were pleased with our choices of the carbonara and lasagne. Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive. It’s a great choice for lunch.More

We happened across this restaurant today after visiting Paul Revere’s House. We were welcomed promptly by our delightful waitress, and seated near the window. Iced water appeared shortly after, and our orders were taken efficiently. She was most attentive throughout the meal. My husband had...the Caesar Salad with chicken - he was offered a choice of breaded or grilled chicken. I had a wonderful baby spinach salad with smoked pancetta, beets and crumbled goat cheese, dressed with balsamic vinegar. There was a basket of excellent bread with good olive oil, and we had a glass of Sauvignon Blanc each. I haven’t given a ‘5’ rating because it was quite an expensive lunch - but then everywhere in Boston seems expensive!More

Our first night in Boston and our first North End meal. After a long cab ride on a rainy Thursday evening from the Back Bay we were hungry and in need of something to give us hope in Boston. We had a reservation at another...place close by but walked out because it was way too much like a club. We walked a little and were drawn in to Ristorante Fiore by the decor and that it looked very traditional - plus reviews were good! The service was good and the waiters were charismatic! Saltimbocca di Pollo was great - fabulous sauce! Every part of it was great! The Osso Buco was among the best I’ve ever had served over rice. Coffee and dessert - not bad. All in all, this was a great welcome to Boston and the start of a wonderful Boston experience!More

Stopped in here as we walked north end. We had a great lunch here. Really nice outdoor space on a great beautiful fall day. We had pizza and a meatball panini. Both were great. Service was great. And there is such a friendly neighborhood vibe....We loved it. Wish it was in my neighborhood. We are tourists so I felt great being so welcomed.More

Went to dinner with business colleagues and came here as recommended. Attentive service and a really cool rooftop setting. The food was fine I think and it may be more due to my choices. I honestly can't tell 15 dollar chicken parmesan from 25 dollar...version so in that sense, I think the place was a bit expensive, The ambiance and North End location clearly factor into the price.More
