I visited Ernesto's on the Free Tours by Foot, food tour. I am glad I went on that tour, else I likely would not have though to stop at Ernesto's. It is small, you walk up to the counter, pick a slice of pizza and its warmed up for you. (I am sure you can order an entire pizza as... More

Hole in the wall in Bostons North End/Little Italy. Perhaps 6-8 tables, 30 or so chairs. I prefer eating in as I find that a hot pizza stored in a closed box softens the edges. So we ate in. Huge "slices". Very friendly staff. Good selection of soda and beers (and perhaps wine?). Eggplant and Ricotta - WOW!!! Go for... More

Ernesto's lost a life long customer today. I ordered a pizza and salad through Seamless/GrubHub. Not only did it take nearly two hours for them to deliver, but they delivered the wrong order - including something I was allergic to. Upon calling the driver within five minutes of leaving my door - he said 'uh nothing I can do'. Upon... More

Just got home from my 1st trip to Ernesto's and felt compelled to write a review immediately because it was so GOOD! Slices are huge and so very tasty. We ordered 3 slices, white, caprese, and pepperoni, while we waited for our cheese pie. We ate the slices so fast because they we so delicious. The white pizza had so... More

Outstanding variety, great location, fast service (friendly counter staff), good value and an amazing crust: crisp and chewy, substantial and light at the same time. Why 4 stars not 5? 4 is a very high rating, with no reservations. Enjoy.

There are LOTS of places to get pizza in Boston's North End. But Pizzeria Regina seems to get all the attention. They're deserving of all the praise they get, but I suggest that Ernesto's shouldn't be overlooked. They produce a large variety of quality pizzas. When you order by the slice, you end up with a huge amount of food.... More

Went into Ernesto's after finishing a bus tour. We didn't quite realize how big the slices were but they were amazing. We had one pepperoni, one fresh tomato, one special (pep, onion, green peppers, and black olive and one sausage) 4 "slices" were way more than the 5 of us could eat. Staff was super friendly and cut the slices... More

Grandson & I were in Boston last weekend and were in the North End and wanted pizza. We stumbled upon Ernesto's and we ordered what we thought were regular size slices, My goodness, they are huge, very good, but huge. Worth the trip.

Ernesto's Pizza has very limited sitting capacity, we went around 4:00 'ish, so we managed to get a seat. I especially prefer the white sauce pizza, simply out of this world. Its loaded with toppings, and pricing are reasonable.

Neighborhood Profile
North End
Wandering around Boston’s North End can feel like being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s home, and follow the Freedom Trail to Old North Church and Copp’s Hill Burying Ground. Take a rest in a cafe on Hanover street and observe the quirky, European character of the North End.
