Saw a mouse and a roach in one sitting - Ronny the bartender is the only redeeming part of this disgusting hell hole

Cowboy for two ribeye arrived at table unsliced contrary to request. After slicing was served cold. More fat and bone than steak. Waiter suggested it was our fault for ordering...since the cut is known to be extra fatty. Asparagus was greasy and overcooked, mashed potatoes...with lobster was dry and tasteless, eggplant appetizer was mediocre.More

Absolutely horrible experience!! I ordered a drink containing ginger beer and after the bartender put like 1/2 can of ginger beer right in front of me, I drank it thinking maybe he meant I could consume the remainder. Instead of simply informing me nicely about...the misunderstanding, he says like "Hey, that's F**KING rude, if you would have asked I would have given it to you." I apologized, and wanted to leave, but my buddy there decided to stay for awhile and order water. When my friend left to go to the entrance to meet another friend the bartender gets up like 5 6 inches from my face (he's a physically big guy) and stares me down nearly yelling like "HEY IS THERE A PROBLEM? 'CUZ IF THERE IS A PROBLEM I NEED TO KNOW! " I merely replied politely and without raising my voice there was no problem. The bartender then physically ran down the length of the bar and charged me so fast I thought he was going to physically assault me. Fearing for my safety I took out my phone camera and recorded him. This may have been the only thing that stopped him from physically punching me. He grabbed my friends backpack and started advancing in my direction as I retreated out of the bar. Super unprofessional. The bald bartender in the photo should be fired or put on leave for a month without pay. Under the law he committed assault, since I was in fear for my physical safety and thought he was going to hurt me.More

A really nice place. Good vibe, amazing food, friendly service. We had dinner on the 2nd floor. Good service, amazing food (not these ridiculously big portions but quality instead of quantity) and excellent wine. Very nice.

Phenomenal service by Emilio! Every dish was amazing. Emilio directed our choices and did not disappoint from the wine to appetizers to surprising my son with a birthday dessert. We could not have asked for a better evening. We will be sure to call on...him again when we are in town.More

The Pino Noir from California was smooth and velvety, waiter recommended the fried stuffed zucchini flowers, they were like heaven!!! Ordered the salmon to go with the pino noir, it took my breath away. Finished with the pistachio dessert, JUST PERFECT!!!

Food was phenomenal but BEWARE if they take your card make sure you check your transactions as we found out that one of the waiters who was serving us added an additional $40 on top of our bill and this was no where to be...seen on the bill. We mentioned to him that we were leaving Boston the next day and so seen this as an opportunity. The fact that we had tipped $20 already blows my mind how someone could have the audacity to do this. This ruined the entire experience when we discovered this. (Don’t give them your card to pay for transaction, have yourself tap/insert in front of you) Update** Spoke to Manager following day, noted “that this occurs often ?” Never in my life have I experienced a situation like this and I hope not to again. Money has been refunded. Won’t be visiting again.More

We ate at Bricco for dinner and the food was good. Not outstanding. Service was poor. We were given the bill before our server bothered to ask how our dessert was (it was bad) or if we wanted anything else. Left wishing we had gone...to a different restaurant since we were only in town for the weekend.More

Happening place that wasn’t a fit. It’s not a good place for a post show dessert and conversation. It’s a bar with (very) slow service. Someone in my party wondered about the expresso… was it coffee? Really really wanted to end the night with five...stars. Damn.More

We found this place after eating at another Italian restaurant down the street. Wish we had eaten here. We wanted to finish our day with a drink so sat at the bar where we met Glenn the friendly bartender. He makes a signature expresso martini..., great Irish coffees, and a perfect Manhattan. We were so pleased with our visit and would definitely return...and next time to eat too. Glenn made our experience a Boston highlight.More

Overrated and overpriced. The nicest part of our meal was the dessert which was bread and butter pudding. For prices like these, you would expect to eat food that you cannot cook yourself at home. Unfortunately this was not the case in Bricco

On March 5,2022 I went to have a dinner . The person I had dinner with was only an acquaintance. I had met her while our husbands were in the hospital together/ first name basis. Our bill comes, $291.04 ... we BOTH put up our...cards to SPLIT THE BILL. Waitress (Nina P.) gave us both our copies to sign $145.52 we left a cash tip. 2 days later I am charged for the whole bill ! I call Bricco's on 3/8/2022, speak to the manager... give him all the information he asked for. I was told he would take care of it. Now 3/16/2022, 11 days later, nothing.. I call again and was told to email the manger !! Hell no, I want to talk to someone now ! After 5 mins 52 seconds I was told there was NOTHING Bricco's could do about it. I was told I needed to try to get the money from the person I had dinner with.. (This is NOT an exaggeration) I explained, the women was a stranger to me, 1st name basis. I was told again, there is nothing Bricco's could do about it. He did admit it was the servers (Nina P) mistake.. so basically, "screw me !" .More

It can be hard to choose a restaurant in the North End of Boston with so many top-rated spots. Bricco is one you should consider and make sure you make a reservation. The Staff was busy but timely and helpful explaining menu items. The food...is excellent and most items see time in their open brick oven. There were four in our party and no one was disappointed but if youre ordering for yourself, we would suggest the meatball appetizer, the ricotto pillows, and the braised short ribs, followed by a molten lava cake done properly.More

Understanding it's time for holiday celebrations and gatherings, the place was packed on a Thursday eve. All customers of course were unmasked in tables that were well under 6' apart. The staff were attentive and well trained, and masked. Appetizers were amazing (scallops!) but their...signature special seafood risotto was most disappointing - full of bacon flavor (and fat chunks), there were a few pieces of shrimp that were recognizable. The waiter and team graciously addressed my complaint, but next time we'll look for a more intimate place in the North End off Hanover St.More

The restaurant is in the crowded Little Italy area with lots of patio seating along the road - making it fun environment, which we enjoy. However, given our late reservation, we were only able to get an indoor seatting (2nd floor by the window). The...food is good; quantity is reasonable and tends to be expensive.More

Sorry to have missed this question. Agree with previous reviewer. Park and walk over, less than 5 minutes . No valet at this time and very limited parking due to expanded outside seating at all restaurants.
