enjoyed my experience here so much that I ate here twice during my 3 day stay!! I try to visit Hard Rock whenever i am in a city with one - and I always try the 'local legendary' burger when I can (For those who are unfamiliar with this concept, HR do a traditional burger which is pretty much the... My husband and I stopped in after our sunset cruise for a late dinner. We were greeted and sat immediately. We sat outside and it was nice however you had to use the flashlight on phone to read the menu. Our waiter was super nice. We got the new York strip steak and a drink a piece. It came to... More

Great location for eats or rock shopping. Lovely young lady at the counter was easy to chat to and one could tell she enjoyed her job. The choices of items in the shop are up to date and varied for many styles.

Been to a couple of the Hard Rock Cafes globally (Florida, London, and here) and this is the second best one (no-where near as big as Florida but way, way better then London). Great food, brilliant service and good central location. Even got a free bag with one of the leaflets we had picked up during the day.

We ate lunch in this Hard Rock Cafe. The food was as good as always and the server was particularly helpful and knowledgable about the beer and wine list. The food turned up very quickly despite the place being quite busy and we had finished our meal within an hour, Would definitely return the next time we're in Boston

Great location near so many of the popular sites in Boston. These restaurants always have good food and this place was no exception. Service here was very slow, thus a rating of four instead of five. Plenty of memorabilia to look at while you're there. They also have a gift shop where you can buy Hard Rock Cafe merchandise.

Was pleasantly surprised at the quality of food, portion size and friendliness of staff. Not usually my first choice, but I didn't regret eating here.

That's another one off the list. As always great food and super service at Hard Rock in Boston. It was also my birthday on the day we visited and was rewarded to a free Desert as long as stood up and had everyone shout Happy Birthday to me. Great place to spend my 30th.

This is a smaller location but has everything you'd expect from The Hard Rock Cafe. We ate outside & it was really nice. We could still hear the music. We got the twisted mac & cheese. It's our favorite. I got mine without chicken & Hubby his without peppers. I really like there veggie burger too! We got 20$ combo... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
