Met up with a bunch of friends for a birthday celebration- someone else picked this restaurant. It was meh. Lots of red sauce, pretty run-of-the-mill. Someone said they have excellent pizza but nothing really jumped out from the menu! I ordered the Fettuccine Positano which...More

You almost can't go wrong in the North End for Italian eats, but this is one of my top choices because the food is exceptional, authentic, and for the quality and atmosphere the pricing is really reasonable for the area. Really really love the ambiance...More

A pretty nice Italian restaurant you may use as an alternative when the line to Neptune is too long. They serve full menu at the bar as well. This place is popular and busy lunch and dinner time. My “pizza tradizionale” was good yet not...More

Awesome margherita pizza at lunchtime. Good service, though strangely they were unwilling to sit a single diner at a table even though the restaurant was only half full (instead tried hard to steer me to sit at the bar which was noisy and crowded.).

Simple food, using good quality ingredients, well cooked, a very enjoyable pizza. Was very busy with families, workers, visitors and locals all of whom were enjoying themselves. Recommended

If you've never experienced a wood-fired pizza, put this restaurant on your list. We got the Margherita because we didn't want to complicate the flavor with a bunch of toppings. It was amazing and the Caprese salad was a perfect complement. It made me want...More

My wife really enjoyed her pizza, but I found the lasagna only marginally acceptable. By way of explanation, I found the dish to be overwhelmed with Ricotta cheese, not one of my favourites - a balance was needed between the cheese and other ingredients. But,...More

Yes Angel we do. Please call the restaurant. For a Saturday night reservation for 25 it would have to be an earlier reservation. Sincerely Carla Gomes

Restaurants Around the World: 9. Antico Forno Boston, MA Antico Forno is billed as “The Most Authentic Italian Restaurant,” and we’re hard pressed to argue. This mainstay in Boston’s North End manages a cozy mom-and-pop atmosphere with world-class traditional cuisine. Entrees like Saltimbocca di Pollo and Linguine al Frutti di Mare hearken back to the old country, but Antico Forno is best known for its brick-oven pizzas piled high with house-made Italian sausages and mozzarella. 10BEST Says (#8 Boston Family Friendly) Best Value: Traditional Italian baked in a brick oven sets this Italian restaurant apart. Serving a selection of pastas, entrees and pizzas all cooked to perfection in their famous brick oven at reasonable prices, Antico Forno is a good value. Kid friendly (although lacking a children’s menu), Antico Forno serves even the littlest one sin style. Serving some of the best pies around, Antico Forno carries a large selection of toppings as well.
