Date and I were looking for a neighborhood gem, disappointed. Noisy and dark with below average service. Multiple waiters, maybe too many where we felt rushed and experienced water service poured in our wine and cocktail glasses!. Not all dishes true Italian, but that is our fault for not ordering correctly.

Great food, Great Service, Italian food as it is meant to be, the North End is great but Toscano is a sophisticated dining experience, the food came out exactly as ordered and the staff were discrete but never too far away. We went for an anniversary and it was the highlight of the weekend

Due to a change in plans, we ended up not being able to dine at Toscano. However, I wanted to compliment the customer service- they were really helpful when we were planning our dinner. They were also particularly gracious when we ended up having to cancel a few days after we had made the reservation. Good customer service is not... More

This was a repeat birthday dinner as we liked Toscanos so much last year. The food is great and the service by Peter was excellent. There were four of us and we all ordered different entrees which were very large and delicious.

Four of us dined here and ended up with a waiter called Peter. If you get him, you are in for a treat. He was polite, non intrusive yet always available. His ability to list off all the specials for the evening was impressive as there were many. Everyone at our table thoroughly enjoyed their meal. If I'd done anything... More

My husband & I were celebrating my birthday & we wanted great Italian food. We were immediately ushered to a table for two by the window. Our server was very attentive. My husband & I both ordered a martini. Both arrived perfectly chilled & delicious. We ordered apps, he polpetini in a great red sauce. I had the capaccio with... More

Toscano was an excellent choice by my daughter as a restaurant to celebrate her 26th birthday. The four of us had excellent pasta dinners that were preceded by exceptionally fresh salads. I could not believe how fresh the salads were, as the tomatoes tasted like they were right out of my summer garden. Very rare in January! The sides of... More

With true disclosure, I am writing this review on observations and feedback from my dinner companions, since I became ill and could not finish my meal. We were looking forward to going out for a birthday celebration for my daughter on a Saturday night. We made reservations and they requested our credit card in case we cancelled, $125 cancellation fee!... More

We tried Toscano on a cold January night. It was the ultimate cozy, Italian restaurant and really did make you feel like you were in Italy. Lots of woods, warm tones and interesting sconces created a welcoming tone. The service was friendly and professional. Not too over the top but there if you needed anything. It was hard to choose...
