The red curry chicken was OK, it could have had more pizzazz to it. I was able to sample some wine before I chose to make sure I'd like it. Service was about average. When we went in, I asked for a table away from the rest of the crowd. I think it slowed down our service a bit but... More

Food was excellent. Service was great. Prices low to reasonable. Highly recommended. I had the Pad See Ew. Huge portion. Try it if you've never had it before. You will never go back to your go-to order: Pad Thai.

I had the Tom Yum soup and Tropical Fried Rice. Both were pretty tasty. Nice location for a break from shopping or sightseeing.

If you're used to Thai food or spicy food in general, this place is decent but nothing too special. We felt that our food could have been a little more spicy and a little less sweet. For the price, it was so-so. Portions were quite generous, though.

Open on Christmas Eve when many other places were closed, warm welcome and many vegetarian choices on menu. Typical Thai food, nothing unusual but good portions. Food was delivered quickly and very tasty. Chopsticks available if you ask.

Tried again after several years absence. Food was good, a bit pricey for a Thai, a bit extreme sugesting tip from 18% up, including on the tax! Quite noisy when busy. The scallops were good - we are used to much smaller ones in England

I go to Boston a few times a year for business. Thai Basil is a couple of blocks from my office so I usually stop in at least once each visit. I stop in for dinner on my way to the hotel. This last visit I ordered the Drunken Noodle with tofu and the usual Thai Iced Tea. The food... More

We'd been several times in the last decade or so and enjoyed the food just as much. The service was extremely good. Every worker was making every effort possible to please people at all times. It was packed when we got there but thinned out as it neared 2:00 PM. With the turnover this restaurant has, you'll always get really... More

Went on a crowded Saturday. Very slow and disorganized. Got the Penang Curry and the Rending Curry. Acceptable but not outstanding. Would try again if I were in the neighborhood.

Neighborhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
