I went there for dinner and signed in for a reservation at Open Table. We arrived at the right time but still had to wait. Then we were first offered a table in a section that was so noisy we could not hear across the table. Then we were moved to an acceptable section in the back of the restaurant.... More

Excellent meal. I read some poor reviews which almost turned me away. They were so wrong. The Arrabbiata has wonderful flavor. The lobster ravioli was cooked perfectly. The atmosphere and service was perfect. A wonderful place.

The place was packed as it was July 4th and conveniently located for the fireworks so it was loud. Not sure if that's typical but since the food is not pub style I didn't expect it to be as loud. Really enjoyed the shrimp antipasti. Delicious, but a tad too salty. Possibly could hold off on adding extra salt since... More

Went there on July 4th, several other are restaurants we wanted to check out were actually closed for the holiday. Had been before, but not in many years. Was very happily surprised that they offered GF Pizza and Pasta! I had the GF Margherita Pizza, my husband had a non-GF Pizza, both were very good!

We dropped in here for a quick dinner on our first night in Boston, and we're really taken back by the great friendly service and amazing food. Highly recommend this as a dinner spot!

Came here years ago when it was under another name, and the newer owners haven't missed a beat. Service was quick and attentive and the food was delicious. Be aware that certain menu items not available on weekends (i.e. Panninis). Free iced tea refills too. You won't be disappointed.

Great atmosphere with satisfactory service levels. Food very good with large portions and excellent breads. They do push sales but just push back and enjoy your meal. Prices above average but so is the overall experience.

Ate dinner here on our first night in Boston as it was very close to our hotel. The food was very average and expensive for the quality. We had booked and although the restaurant was empty we were taken to what must have been the worst table in the place and then were subjected to very overpowering service. This really... More

Great service! Flurries of wait staff making sure we had everything we needed. Split the lobster pasta. Very good. Wine selection very reasonable. Dessert was great-- lemon dessert was fabulous. Perfect for a summer evening. Great location and their quirky locale below the sidewalk level cut out the noise and kept it intimate.

Great food and good service at a decent price. Not the North End, but perfect after we took the T back from the Science Museum to Copley and walked the easy 1 block to the restaurant. My daughter loved her ravioli, and my wife her pizza. My chicken piccata was flavorful but the risotto was not the best I've had.... More

Neighborhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
