I've been here 3 times in the last two years. The restaurant is dark and unwelcoming. Needs a fresh coat of paint and get rid of the curtains. I started with oysters and a martini. That was the best part of the meal. My friend ordered the sliders. Nothing good about cold fries and cold bread. I had the chicken... More

This place is off the lobby of a hotel but is also open to the public. There are many creative food options. There were families with kids and also couples enjoying breakfast. The service was a bit slow but they were very friendly and helpful.

Had breakfast there for 3 mornings in a row -- good options, quiet tables if you need them to work and team / staff SUPER friendly and hospitable. Great option for working travelers that want to meet up and work / spread out - was not too crowded and staff patient and understanding.

Had dinner here as staying in the Lennox and wanted a quick meal after a long flight. 3 out if 4 of our choices were OK, but I would have knocked a star off for the truly awful Calamari I was served. I could not put my finger on why it tasted so odd until my husband tried and identified... More

I had an amazing ahi tuna dish. The wine was great, our waiter was funny, sweet, and attentive. Really loved my meal here. We went because it was in our hotel but would go back for the food and service.

Great food and service. Lobster bisque; salmon; mashed potatoes and rolls are all excellent. Nice ambiance. Reasonably priced for area.

Had breakfast here in mid-July. Great, attentive, courteous service. Very nice options that were appropriate for gluten-free, dairy-free diners. Very reasonable prices. Very reasonable portions.

My wife and I came here for a Saturday dinner in Boston. We had just arrived and were very hungry and went to the first place we saw. In retrospect, I wish we had taken a few more minutes to so research as there were many great options nearby. The staff was very friendly, but clueless about the menu. Wait... More

Had quick lunch with friends- Turkey club very plain, steak frites good with flavorful sauce but late to the lunch, cuban sandwich above average. Craft beer on tap.

Within the Lennox Hotel, we accepted corporate invitation to a private dinner at City Table. A set off isolated area with four tables for thirty people made for a nice intimate setting to mingle with others and then eat comfortably. While our menu choices were restricted, the full menu offers something for all tastes. The short rib spring rolls were... More

Neighborhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
