Had quick lunch with friends- Turkey club very plain, steak frites good with flavorful sauce but late to the lunch, cuban sandwich above average. Craft beer on tap.

Within the Lennox Hotel, we accepted corporate invitation to a private dinner at City Table. A set off isolated area with four tables for thirty people made for a nice intimate setting to mingle with others and then eat comfortably. While our menu choices were restricted, the full menu offers something for all tastes. The short rib spring rolls were... More

While our server was friendly enough, service was really really slow. It took forever to get our drinks and then one appetizer came out but the other didn't follow for at least 15 minutes. The first one was oysters which were not very good and a bit sketchy. Our entrees were just okay as well. We probably would not have... More

Food was excellent! We entered from the street and were surprised to find out later that this is a hotel restaurant. High quality food and atmosphere. Service was a tad slow. While the waitress was pleasant and knowledgeable, it seems like she had too many tables.

The service was excellent but the food was a little boring for the price. The atmosphere is a loud open lobby restaurant, not an intimate setting. I ordered a lemon drop martini and it wasn't the best.

We had Father's day brunch here and all four of us were disappointed. First - the service was slow and the restaurant was quiet with what appeared to be adequate staffing so the slow service confused us. Second - the food was adequate - nothing to rave to home about. One person ordered the yogurt and fruit (very small portion);... More

Attending a conference in Boston and wanted a decent place within walking distance of the Sheraton Hotel. We walked around the corner to City Table. The food was very good, the service was friendly and very efficient and the restaurant's wine list was more than satisfactory. We had market salad and buttermilk fried calamari (cooked perfectly). Entrees were mussels, shrimp... More

A good restaurant that does a decent breakfast with a lot of variety. Coffee is also good. Staff and service is good, didn't have to wait for my food. Its located in the Back Bay Area quite close to the skywalk observatory.

Neighborhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
