We were looking for an easy, local brunch spot, feeling like we should venture beyond the Beehive, our usual go to brunch spot. After reading various reviews we settled on a 'bit of a risk' Masa. Alarm bells should have been ringing when we waited 20 minutes and had to ask the server for a menu. We then had to... More

Dined on a Saturday morning with a party of 6 without a reservation and we got pretty lucky to get a table. We had an attentive and knowledgeable server. I had the michelada - beer spiced with tomato juice- I loved it. For my entree I had the breakfast burrito with rice, black beans and pico garnish. It was fresh... More

they have outdoor seating on fridays and saturdays and you can have your dog there but if you are drinking, per MA law, you need to order food and yet they only offer their tapas inside at the bar. it is a big deterrent for my office that is close by. We don't want to order entrees or overly involved... More

My husband and I had brunch here our second visit to Boston. The food is good but it extremely packed and noisy as ever. Its either you eat outside in the heat where its quiet or be cool but cramped and can't really here what your date or waiter/waitress is even saying. I get it ... its a popular restaurant.... More

I made reservations because I heard it got crowded on a Saturday morning. We were seated right away and blown away by the reasonable cost of the food. It was DELICIOUS and our server was excellent. I love this place and will be back soon!

The brunch is a great deal (at this writing $9.95 for two courses), and there are several tasty cocktails to choose from, including a habanero watermelon margarita. The kids menu has good choices at reasonable prices. Eat some of their signature breads and spreads while you wait for your meal to be served. A nice treat with a great vibe.... More

The brunch fiesta is a great deal ($9.95 for two courses). There were a good amount of vegetarian options. Alcoholic drinks are about $9. I booked ahead on OpenTable but the place wasn't crowded around 10:30am on a Sunday.

You can’t beat the brunch for $9.95 in a city like Boston. I think service would have been better if we had a table but none was available so we sat at the bar. The quality and taste of food was pretty good. I would go back again next time we are in Boston.

Mother's day brunch was wonderful! This place has great pancakes and Crab Benedict! Orange Juice is fresh and tastes like it should! Service was really nice! The only reason I will not give the maximum is because of the hostess. We arrived 20 min prior to our reserved time and she could not seat us despite the fact that the... More

First time here and we will be back. We tried the Texas toast that was amazing. We also had the plantains and Mexican omelet with Chorizo. It was all delicious and washed it down with a Tequila Mary. It does get very crowded, but they do take reservation. Enjoy!

Staying in South End

Neighborhood Profile
South End
Stroll down the beautiful brownstone lined streets while capturing views of Boston’s tallest buildings from a distance. Some of Boston’s best restaurants are scattered around this neighborhood. There are many gems to be found, from jazz clubs to classy bars and restaurants. It is also home to art galleries, interesting boutiques, artsy stores and SOWA open market during the summer months. The South End is a true find in the city, with a more residential feeling than Back Bay.
