I loved everything about this gem! It's in a great neighborhood and once you walk through the doors you are WOWed by the elegance of the place! Our server was very professional and polite! I tried the Saint C cocktail with gin, rosemary, grapefruit, and lemon bitters and it was amazing! For dinner, I started with the endive salad with... More

Great little french restaurant located around south Boston. We had the filet mignon and the steak, and both were absolutely to die for! Great sauces and marinades for the steaks. We also shared the french onion soup which may have been the best we've ever had, and we make it and order it often! It was quite expensive but worth... More

Was great going here after the update to the restaurant. Was perfectly redone and the menu changed. Nice new location of the bar, seating was updated and the space felt roomier. Food still good

Is a beautiful space very elegantly designed. We had the special restaurant week menu. Service was excellent. We were made to feel very welcomed and absolutely not rushed. I had the gnocchi which was lovely and then the chocolate mousse which really enjoyed. We indulged in a great bottle of wine with seemed quite reasonable. The valet parker person had... More

We went there for breakfast. The place seems to be very popular. The food was pretty good though a bit pricey. The service was fast and very attentive.

I went for dinner with a friend at her recommendation as it was in her neighborhood and she had not been there since the recent renovation. I was happy to find a very appealing building with a friendly bustling bistro atmosphere inside. I was shown to our table by a friendly manager to wait for my friend. Our waiter, Jon,... More

I moved to Italy a couple of years ago, so whenever I come back to the States I try to get my favorite breakfast: Eggs Benedict. I am so glad my friend suggested this place. They were probably the best I have ever had. Nice setting, good service. Just stay away from Bellinis and Mimosas: they were not that great.... More

My friend and I went there for a Saturday morning breakfast. It was surprisingly empty at 9:00 in the morning for the quality of food we were given. The french toast was the best I ever had and the fried egg was cooked to perfection. Our waitress was kind and the price was very reasonable for how good the food... More

Aquitaine – Boston, MA – 8/1/2016 This is my fourth Aquitaine group restaurant location visit. Each locations décor is a bit different however one common thread shared by all is exceptional customer service and Attention To Detail… At this point I have a certain level of expectation and these people exceeded it. The Boston location just underwent a major renovation.... More

Staying in South End

Neighborhood Profile
South End
Stroll down the beautiful brownstone lined streets while capturing views of Boston’s tallest buildings from a distance. Some of Boston’s best restaurants are scattered around this neighborhood. There are many gems to be found, from jazz clubs to classy bars and restaurants. It is also home to art galleries, interesting boutiques, artsy stores and SOWA open market during the summer months. The South End is a true find in the city, with a more residential feeling than Back Bay.
