Great iconic place. We had to go while visiting Boston. Great atmosphere with tons of memories of the show and sport. Good food with above average service.

I was a fan of the TV show and seeing CHEERS in person was a highlight of my trip to Boston. I had late lunch there, food was terrific, service was great.

Fun site to visit but don’t bother ordering food to eat. Very poor quality/tasting food. Better off limiting your visit to getting a beer.

While in Boston we knew we just had to stop at the iconic Cheers! What a fun place and super friendly staff! It was much smaller than we we thought but it was cozy. Wish we would have tried the food. We defiantly recommend stopping...here when in Boston!!More

I have always been skeptical about going here, in the back of my mind thinking it was a tourist trap, but is was a great experience. My family greatly enjoyed the food and even though it was busy (late Saturday afternoon) our waiter was "on...top of" our drinks and meals. I even made a special request (I asked for my sandwich to be made into a wrap and there are no "wraps" on the menu) and it came out fantastic! Had some Guinness as well, and definitely look forward to coming here more often and I definitely recommend that anyone interested stop in for drinks or a meal Considering this is located in the city I think the prices are very fair.More

I've been a life-long fan of the Cheers TV show since the 80s and even got to watch an episode taping. When I finally got a chance to visit Boston for the first time this year, stopping by the Cheers bar was at the top...of my must-see list. I knew there were differences between the set and the real thing, but I didn't know quite what to expect. It's definitely cozier and smaller than the bar you see in the TV show, but the overall look and atmosphere is spot-on. Best of all, the bar staff was AWESOME and super friendly!!! They would stop by every few minutes to chit-chat and check to see if we needed anything. We were planning to only stop by for drinks one night, but after learning they also served food we went back a few more times over the course of the week. It's cool the staff remembered our faces every visit and conversations would pick up where they left off. The food was very tasty and well-portioned for the prices paid. I hope I get a chance to visit again someday...too bad they are not closer! BTW, if the front of the bar is too busy, head to the back. There's a lot more seating back there and it doesn't seem to get quite as busy.More

Of course we had to come here for lunch while in Boston! We really weren't expecting much food wise since it is such an iconic place they don't need to worry about serving good food. Our food was GREAT!!!! We started with 2 really cold...beers. We both loved the Clam Chowder. I had Veggie Panini and hubby had the turkey sandwich. Both were very good. Our server Mugsy was excellent. It was really busy, and he managed to handle a LOT of tables efficiently! The place is super small. Anyone wanting to only go to the gift shop goes thru the small dining space. It is by far the most congested place that we have been since March of 2020. There needs to be a way to eliminate the tourists from wandering thru so that it is just diners. Highly recommend!!More

We walked here from our Hilton location which was a very nice hike up a hill and was a little disappointed with the place when we arrived. Had always wanted to come here if ever in Boston and it turned out to be a big...meh. Service was fine. Worth a look if on the area. Not worth going out of your way.More

Of course we went because it’s a tourist attraction but had a great time . It’s a small, neighborhood bar with lots of character and friendly people. Definitely go!

It had been 30+ years since our last visit to Boston, so after our 3rd day of museums and sites, we decided to head toward Beacon Hill and managed to snag an onstreet parking spot next to the Public Garden. Cheers was right there, beckoning...us in for a drink! We got seats at the bar and ordered a couple of beers! Truly it was just nice to sit and relax and do some people watching!! Worth a stop!!More
