Went to Cheers (original) at this place OK meal - service rather slow and impersonal but they were busy - but a WARNING - pay cash DO NOT USE A CREDIT CARD - certainly NEVER tip on a card. They messed about with my card taking money out putting it back taking out another amount - of course by the... More

Yes food was Ok, but service was not good. It was kind of a problem for the servitres to split up the bill! So if you go there and want to pay seperatly tell them in time.

We went here primarily to gawp at the location of THE Cheers pub but we decided to eat here. There was a short wait for a table and we had to wait outside but we were eventually seated by the window that overlooks the entry staircase. The chowder and all the other food we ate were fine and the service... More

Just like the first time I've been in Boston I "had" to stop to Cheers for at least a beer being a big fan of the TV series, however this time I decided to get lunch as well. The place is really really crowded and it's quite hard to avoid queueing for a table (waiting time was quite short though... More

My mom always loved the 80's TV show. Therefore, I had to bring her here during our visit to Boston. Albeit a little pricey, it is worth it. The service is quick and the staff is professional & friendly. The food and drinks are delicious. If you are in the Boston area I recommend visiting this restaurant : )

I loved coming here. The food was great, it wasn't super pricey, it is a total tourist experience. My boyfriend claimed the clam chowder here was the best he has ever had. I liked the souvenir shop. Make sure you buy your cheers mug!

Went to the original bar and found it really good atmosphere and decent beer as well. The set bar is upstairs and available for photos. But enjoy the place as somewhere to chill out and enjoy the company.

If you watched the show it feels kind of obligatory to visit the bar while in Boston . Like typical tourists we took our picture beside the cheers sign , as previous reviewers have said this is not where the show was made but was based on , it still felt good walking down the stairs into the bar .....
