I love stopping by Cheers in Boston on Beacon St. It is noisy & always busy, but a fun place to visit. I recently had the ham & cheese sandwich. Good portions & delicious. It is a little crowded as everyone wants to stop by for the experience.

There are two Cheers Bars in Boston. The original Cheers is situated in Beacon Hill across the road from the public garden. The exterior of this bar was used as the exterior of the bar in the Cheers TV show. The second Cheers is situated in Faneuil Hall Marketplace and is a reconstruction of the Cheers bar studio set used... More

Be sure to hit this Cheers not just the location in Faneuil Hall as this is the location "outside" at least that the sit-com was filmed. Didn't make a Patriots game while visiting so thought going to Cheers and watching the game would be a great alternative...maybe not quite the same excitement but still pretty neat! The food and drinks... More

Went to have a beer and walk down the famous steps into the bar. Very busy great atmosphere - enjoyed downstairs the best although the bar from the set used in the TV programme is upstairs but you'll be very lucky to get a seat. Had a meal which was OK but it's a real conveyor belt and they can't... More

We stopped and Cheers (Bull & Finch Pub) on Beacon for lunch one afternoon. Once you get inside, it is a basic pub. We ordered a few different items and shared. The food was average. I would recommend "Coach's Club" with the cranberry mayo.

I wou;int have gone except those that we traveled with thought it was fun. I was surprised at how much I enjoy it, although lets face it, it's just a dirty bar. The upstairs is a replica (somewhat) of the set from the show, but it was REALLY crowded. We ended up downstairs where is was just a little crowded,... More

Had a beer here and bought a few souvenirs. The ambience was good, but don't go expecting a replica of the bar in the TV programme. The bar is small with a restaurant at the back and souvenir shop at the side.

There are essentially three Cheers bars: Beacon Hill is the one the show was BASED on, and has the exterior you are familiar with. The second floor of this same location has a second bar more in tune with the show's interior. The Fanleil Hall location is also done up to look like the set. We visited the location the... More

The original Cheers was on our "to do" list. We're glad we saw it but a quick drink at the bar was enough time to spend there as it is very crowded and commercial.
