A real class act from the service to the food you won't be disappointed if you pay a visit to this restaurant on Boyslton Street in Boston's Back Bay area as we did to celebrate an anniversary. On a bitterly cold November evening we were greeted warmly and shown to a great table overlooking the busy street. We were served... More
Abe & Louie's is big-time expensive, but the steaks and seafood are first tier, and the lively bar was a hoot! I was in Boston for a work trip on a weeknight, and sat at the bar. Michelle, the bartender, was friendly and efficient. I had the 'small' filet mignon (8 oz -- the smallest beef dish on the menu),... More
Breakfast, Salad, Burgers, or fine Steaks - their brunch menu covers whatever you're in the mood for. Superior quality, fresh food that you can taste in every bite. Impeccable service. No valet on the weekends and parking is a challenge, but worth it.

Sam, our server, was excellent. He was extremely attentive to our 2 year old daughter. His proactive approach to what she needed helped my wife and I enjoy our dinner. The porterhouse and asparagus were cooked perfectly. We will definitely be back. Thanks again, Sam!
Was really looking forward to A&L, but came away disappointed.seating was on the main floor, crowded and noisey. Bar crowd standing nearby, and patron and staff's passage kept bumping my chair. Steak was average, but NE clam chowder was excellent.
Abe & Louie's has a retro steak house atmosphere with dark wood; big furniture; bigger drinks and knowledgeable waitstaff. The oysters are great. The rib eye was so flavorful...but I could barely eat half! The halibut was perfectly cooked - not dry at all. The wine list is varied and our server recommended a white and a red that complemented... More
