We had a special night it was my wife's birthday. I had been to an affair that the restaurant had catered and the food was great. Friends had also raved about the food. The night was a very rainy night so the valet parking worked out $21 but I guess that is average for the city. We had a reservation,... More

Let me start out by saying the food was absolutely amazing. With that out of the way, the service was absolutely terrible. This was the first time I've ever tipped 10% in my life. The server acted as tho we were an inconvenience from the start when we arrived 90 minutes before closing to a full restaurant. We said we... More

This is a great little pasta restaurant in a cool little building. The food is excellent and the staff were very good but my god is it noisy in here! Don't let that put you off (if you are after a quiet romantic meal then its not for you anyway) because the conversations being had all around us were very... More

I rate this restaurant a 4 of 5. Our food was very good. We were seated without a reservation. Our service was excellent. It is very loud and busy. My friends side salad with romaine was nothing to write home about and not worth the price. Her meal of pasta and wild mushrooms was excellent as was mine, a chicken... More

The restaurant looked nothing from outside but based on reviews we visited and were not disappointed. The interior is beautiful and the staff were lovely. All our meals were excellent but the scallops were outstanding. We enjoyed our experience and would definitely recommend it.

My husband and I walked to this restaurant from the Hyatt Regency, which is about 5 minutes away. The food was wonderful. Their bread is served with a bean spread in olive oil with chilis. One can either eat the bean spread plain or with a bit of heat from the chili-infused oil. We shared a calamari antipasto. It was... More

We reserved this restaurant according to the good reviews. When walking in the restaurant, the noise level was already hit us so hard. After we sit down, we even could not hear each other by yelling to each other. We decided that this was not a place to have enjoyable dinner and stood up to leave. When you can't talk... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
