The food was very good ! We had the beef & food gras meatballs and the soup for appetizers - the meatballs were extremely tasty, awesome flavour! The soup was lightly flavoured but very good. For dinner, we had the ravioli and the lobster scungilli - both were great. Overall, a good experience although a bit expensive!!

The space appears to be a former theater lobby. Very cool. The black & silver look was very cool. --- The food was most enjoyable. I dined alone & felt most comfortable.

We were looking for great Italian food, and asked a local. They pointed us towards Teatro, and I'm so glad they did! You should really have reservations, but we opted to sit at the bar so we could get in right then. It was a good choice since we were casually dressed. The food was excellent and so was the... More

This place is noisy, but the menu is diverse, with lots of options for vegetarians and omnivores alike. Good cocktails, too.

Made reservations well in advance, early as the show started at 7 PM. Very professional and nice décor .we had an appetizer and two of the large portion pastas. they have the smaller if you want, but then probably only if you are having the secondi. very nice and friendly wait staff, cone of bread and hummus with oil. Plenty... More

Wasn't sure it was going to be all that great based on the bruschetta appetizer (which was only ok). But the pasta dishes were amazing. They come in two sizes; smaller portions were perfect-sized for us. Great atmosphere. Would definitely go again for more yummy pasta.

This place had great food and wonderful service. We shared an antipasto di salumi appetizer along with the gnocchi and a pizza for our entrees. The gnocchi was the best! It was like biting into little fluffy pillows!! Overall, best meal we've had in a long time!

My wife and I had seen this place many times, happy to have finally gone. Bread was served with a nice spicy hummus, had a great bruschetta appetizer, and the pasta was also quite delicious. There were so many good looking options that my wife got two half portions of different pastas and was very happy with that decision. Service... More

Just had a delicious dinner here while in town for the day. Must try the truffle fries. Also the lobster with butter and pasta. I wish I lived closer this is a keeper. Staff very good also.

This restaurant has pleasant surroundings, great food, excellent service. They have a good selection of Italian food, including gluten free pasta. They also have half-servings of their pastas, making it easy to mix and match. Extensive list of Italian wines by the glass. Really happy with the experience.

Thank Gail C

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
