Fantastic waiter. Good steak nice quality meat. But overall meh. The top level chains do a better overall job. Service staff and the prawn special appetizer were the stars

A friend recommended that we try out this steakhouse when in Boston, and as luck would have it, it was directly opposite the Loews hotel where we were staying. We went on a Saturday night in December and the place was packed. We got a table in a quiet (ish) corner upstairs which we were pretty pleased about, because (as... More

A friend recommended this place for dinner whilst I was on business in Boston. As it happens I was on my own on Valentines Day so I wasn't sure how accommodating they would be but as it The dinning rooms are well put together. Do it.

All of us who ordered steak were pleased, but the fish, the side dishes and the salads were all unimaginative, over-salted and generally unappetizing. The desserts were variable: Creme brûlée excellent, chocolate chip cookies gloppy, etc. This is a place for good steak.

My boyfriend and I have been wanting to try this place for a while now but wanted to wait until a special occasion to do so. Therefore, we decided to make a reservation for dinner here on Valentine's Day. As all Valentine's day dinners are, it was extremely crowded and you obviously had to have a reservation. We got stuck... More

Very good steaks. But quite crowded and noisy. It is better than all the other steak restaurants in Boston.

Went there with a business associate and we both had their 100 day aged prime ribeye steak. Delectable. Also enjoyed their tasting of Japanese whiskeys. We were honestly too full for desert, but Ishmael our most gracious Server would hear nothing of it. He brought us a slice of their famous coconut cake anyways. We were both impressed with his... We were 4 couples looking for a great steak house in Boston. This restaurant was recommended to us. We had 8:00 reservations and was seated right on time. Most in my party ordered steaks of various cuts. I had a veal chop. The veal chop was very tender and cooked the way I asked, however, it was very salty. One... More

Sat at the bar solo last night and had a great meal. Shrimp cocktail, dry age prime strip, side of sautéed spinach and a martini. Ideal. Steak was excellent and service top notch. Awesome meal. Will be back next time in Boston

Visited Grill 23 with my wife and two friends on our last night in Boston. We enjoyed a lovely meal starting with a shared appetiser and lobster tail. We decided to share two a two 18 oz rib eye steaks both cooked to perfection. The wine list is extensive and expensive, but worth a treat now and then.

Thank Moray H

Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
