One of my favorite Thai place in Boston is King and I. I have been there many times. The place has good amount of tables and great menu and quality. Besides their red curry/Pad thai, other favorites include Chicken Kra Pow, and soups.

Had the pad thai with sauvignon blanc...tasty enough but had a stomach ache the rest of the evening. Was the most reasonable restaurant that i could find in the area since the concierge's recommendations were all too pricey (maybe for a reason)!

We were wandering looking for a restaurant and decided to stop in here. It's never going to be the most memorable meal of your life but it was tasty and dished up quickly. I'd return here if in Boston again.

We were on the Boston hop-on hop-off bus and got off at stop number 14. Wandering around we came upon on this gem. I had the mango curry with chicken, very flavorful. My husband have the pad Thai. He said it was very good a little bland. The service was great and the atmosphere is lovely

King & I is down the street from the Liberty Hotel I was staying at. It was a nice short walk down Charles St. When I visited, the restaurant was cozy and service friendly. Food was good and flavorful.

My husband and I wanted a Thai food restaurant close to the Liberty Hotel. A quick 2 minute walk up Charles to a small but busy location. We ordered 1 app and 3 dishes + rice. Too much food due to the large servings! The Pad Thai was the best.

The place is rarely crowded and always nice and quiet, the service is typically quick and the staff is friendly, and Thai food that I like are very reasonably priced. There are a lot of little tables to accommodate lone diners.

great service, and delicious thai food. The hostess was very eager to please us, and ask where we came from. She was really sweet. The Tom Ka Gai was probably the best I've had - and I make it myself at home!

Four of us went to dinner at this restaurant last night. The atmosphere is typical, nothing distinctive. The menu was a bit disappointing, I was hoping for a thai curry and I didn't see one. I ended up having the papaya salad and chicken satay off the appetizer menu as I really couldn't find something that I wanted. The papaya... More

Neighborhood Profile
Beacon Hill
Visit this historic and ritzy Boston neighborhood to soak up its classic New England charm as you stroll down cobblestoned, gas-lamp lined streets. Bring your walking shoes, camera, and select a nice day to wander through the hilly neighborhood and check out its exclusive addresses. Louisburg Square, Mt. Vernon street, Chestnut street and the extremely narrow and widely photographed Acorn street make a nice walking path. Make sure to meander down Charles street to poke into boutiques and antique shops, cafes, and restaurants on this quaint shopping street. Don’t forget to catch a glimpse up close of the State House with its beautiful and iconic dome.
