Went for lunch. Place seemed pretty popular. It is typical bar food. The menu and prices were reasonable. The food was good. Service was also good. Nothing special if you are not a beer aficionado.

Their beer choices are amazing and their sandwiches are delicious. Great bar food and place to pregame or post game a TD Garden event.

We visited Boston Beer Works on a brewery tour. The beer was flat, the service was just ok, and the food wasn't that great. Probably wouldn't go back.

Only stopped in while we had a bit to wait for a train. The pretzel bites with beer sauce were delish! Husband liked the Stout. I tried the Watermelon Ale, but it was nothing special. Inside of place was way cool & service was great!

Great choice of beers and other beverages! Nice food menu, recommend the scallops, really good. Very welcoming staff, greater by several when entering and Jeramy served as. Was patient with us making up our mind what to have and explained every dish, when asked. New the ingredients, even sambal ;-)

A pleasant watering hole that serves an excellent range of beers, from light hoppy ones to dark stouts. The food was also very good. If you go for the nachos, only have a small portion. When split between 2 that is plenty. I struggled with my main course of something akin to jambalaya. Well worth a visit.

Pretty amazing food and great staff. The chicken was a little dry but still awesome! Beer was said to be good.

Visited twice in 2 days, v friendly and helpful staff, place is large and cavernous but works, esp if you sit at the bar, have 20 ales on tap, drank them in flights so worked our way through most of them, really enjoyed the IPAs, not sure about the fruit beers, ate both times and food good if a little... Excited at the prospect of tasting some local beer during our two days in Boston, we headed to the Boston Beer Works. We approached the bar, ordered beer and the small and round barman looked confused at the sight of a UK (European) photographic driving licence. This is a personal ID and has been a valid form of ID in... More

Went in here with my husband to grab a drink and we're asked for ID which is fair enough as we expect it over here. We were told by the man behind the bar that he could not accept our UK driving licenses as ID and that he would only accept north American ID. So basically don't bother going here... More
