I had circled Atlantic Fish Company as one of my top three restaurants I wanted to eat at during my 5-night stay in Boston. During the weeks prior to arriving in Boston, the Atlantic Fish Company Trip Advisor ranking seemed to trend downwards, which was concerning. I arrived to the restaurant at 9:30PM on Sunday night thinking I could grab... More

We visited the Atlantic on a flying visit to Boston, as we only had two nights we wanted to eat some good seafood so chose the Atlantic based on reviews. It was really busy and we were lucky to get a table, staff were friendly and welcoming. Food was good, perhaps not as amazing as we'd built it up to... More

Was told I had to try this restaurant. They were rated one of best for chowder. It was OK. I had chowder just about daily since landing in Boston and it was the last in line for best chowder. Had their seasonal pumpkin beer from Shipyard brewery and it was great.

We went to this restaurant with business colleagues. Don't go without reservation! It was full and people coming on constant basis. I had clam chowder for appetizer and lobster 2lb for main dish. Clam chowder was ok but lobster was excellent. Just don't take the crab filling. My colleagues could not eat it all because crab fillings are so heavy... More

This location has become incredibly busy ... and no wonder- it is so darn good!! Be ready to wait up to 20 mins from your reservation time ( reservations are a must!!) The staff are professional and really good. Everyone hustles with a smile. Did I say the food is so darn fresh and good? Well worth the waiting. It... More

Waited half an hour for our table even though we had a reservation. Service was very slow and the waiter was a little odd. Food was just ok. The clam chowder was watery and scallops were small and chewy. Crab cake and drinks were good. Legal seafood is much better.

The restaurant was great. Food and wine were excellent. I had a swordfish special that was awesome. We were on our way to Fenway and the atmosphere was lively. The waiter was very experienced and attentive to our requests. One of my Boylston Street favorites

Restaurant is very busy and should be. The food and service are excellent. The ambience is what to be expected in a very popular place.

Atlantic Fish has been a favorite of both locals and tourists alike, offering classics like award-winning New England Clam Chowder and Maine Lobster to more adventurous items such as our signature Swordfish Chop. The understated and timeless decor of the restaurant immediately draws the attention of those who enter. The dining room reminds one of a classic cruising vessel, complete with detailed woodwork and murals reflecting the spirit of the sea. Tailored to intimate dining with cozy booths throughout.

Neighborhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
