All of our seafood was over cooked (the mussels, clams, swordfish and lobster. The lobster tasted "off." I told the manager just to give them a heads up. He told me I didn't know what I was talking about. (I've eaten seafood all over the world as well as cooked some myself). I'd say save your money and go to... More

Stopped by for a very late dinner last night with my sister and cousin on our last night in Boston. We arrived at around 10pm and the restaurant was still packed! Considering it was a Wednesday night we saw this as a good sign. The hostess was very helpful and genuine. Our wait was short and sweet, and our server... More

We just popped in for lunch last Wednesday and were pleased to get a table immediately. My husband had clam chowder in a bread bowl and I had a lobster roll. Both were absolutely delicious. A chilled glass of white wine for me and a ditto bottle of beer for him completed the meal, and we were very happy with... More

The Asian Tuna that is pictured above as I write this review was spectacular. We waited over an hour for a table outside, the inside tables in a beautiful dining room were an even longer wait. But the tuna was thick, absolutely had none of the stringiness that is often a tiny problem in seared, very rare tuna. The crust... More

Lobster Roll heaven! This is a very nice restaurant with a professional wait staff and wonderful service and food! I had to try the lobster roll and it was amazing! Everything from the linens to the lunch was above and beyond my expectations! Our waiter even asked is we had food allergies, she assisted with the menu and was so... More

We enjoyed our recent dinner at Atlantic Fish. It was recommended by our concierge however she said it was popular and we might have trouble getting a table. We were able to make a 9:45pm reservation for a Friday night at about 5pm through Open Table. At 9:45 the restaurant is still seating many new diners and is very busy.... More

My husband selected and this restaurant based on its menu before we left home. Clearly a VERY popular restaurant, and for good reason. My Chilean Sea Bass was like butter in my mouth...food and wine offerings all expertly prepared and presented. Food was delivered piping hot (if appropriate)...we were even treated with a lovely creme brule to share in honor... More

This seems like the place the locals go to get their fine dining seafood. Arrived at 11:30 when the doors opened and the place was full by 12. Lots of business lunching going on here. The scallops, seared tuna, shrimp/scallop risotto, and oysters on the half shell all excellent! Service was prompt and accurate. We would return...happily.

The atmosphere was just ok. I was seated at a very undesirable table, probably because I was by myself. I didn't ask to change locations, so that could be my fault. I felt like I was treated different because I was alone. The food was ok, but not worth the cost. There are other seafood restaurants in Boston with just... More

Service was very good considering how busy the restauant was. The place was a bit noisey but not terrible. Drinks were promply delivered to the table. The food was prepared perfectly and it was fresh and delicious. I would recommend this restaurant for a get together with friends or family. If you are looking for a quiet romantic hideaway look... Staying in Back Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
