Kind of disappointed. Someone brought water and then we waited appx 15mins before a waiter came over with menus, another 10 mins for bread. Appetizer of bacon wrapped scallops were great and clam chowder was "ok". Main course of lobster ravioli and lobster roll were both average at best.

Visited with friends during a very busy lunch period. Service was great and so was their bread! Ordered the Mixed Baby Greens Salad which was good. Hubby said the Jonah Crab Cake Melt sandwich was ok. Did not like dessert (some kind of apple crumbs with berries sauce. Good location.

This was delicious! A friend heard I was in town and recommended it. I added to my list of possible dining experiences. After a day of sightseeing and shopping I found myself nearby and decided to choose it as my dining experience for the night. The hostess was not very friendly and turned me away at first because they were... More

Have visited several times. Nice wait staff. Food is delish. Bit pricey but worth it. Always consistently good. Best to have reservation but was accommodated when I did not.

I'm not a fish person, so had the crab cakes instead. My wife had the cioppino. Mine was very good, my wife's was excellent.

Went on a Sunday for early dinner. Service was great but food ok. Fresh fish nothing special. Expected more in boston. Not very creative either.

We went here to celebrate my birthday while in Boston. The food, service and experience is top notch! I splurged on the lobster special with no regrets! Everyone enjoyed their entrees and my daughter earned me a free birthday treat for answering a fun trivia question! The oysters are the best I have had in awhile. Lovely wine list. Nice... More

This restaurant came highly recommended by friends who had eaten there However when we arrived the table next to us were bitterly complaining about the service they had received Unfortunately our meal was well below par ,the lobster was overcooked and rubbery and at nearly €50.00 each not cheap A big disappointment , normally the waiter asks you if everything... Fam took me for my birthday dinner while we were in Boston last week. We did this a couple years ago when my daughter was starting her freshman year. I must say, it was worth every penny! Not cheap, but the quality of the food and impeccable service made it a value experience. Our waiter, initially from southern Cal, was... More

The dinner is a bit on the pricey side for me but the lunch and brunch are well worth it. The fish n' chips are the best I've had in a long while. Great selection and tastes fresh

Staying in Back Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
