The burgers were the best we ever had. 2 of us had the steak bomb burger, the BLT burger and you name it burger with Gorgonzola cheese, homemade onion rings and avocado. The variety of burgers are amazing. Also we shared a Caesar salad and an arugula salad with pistachios, cranberries and bluecheese with a vinegarette dressing. It was cut... More

We ordered way too much food for a group of 5 and ate it all - it was that good! I had lobster benedict which was covered in fish! We shared a load of pancakes which were all really good too. Next time I'm in Boston, I'll 100% be going back.

I was very impressed by the creative combinations conjured up by the chef at this place. There were lots of compelling choices. My daughter and I split two of them and wished we had the capacity to order/try more. We loved the crab omelet and the benedict in bed -- wanted desperately to also try to cannoli pancakes but we... An AMAZING brunch at North Street Grille, it's my "go to" spot for an fantastic meal when visiting Boston. It's DEFINITELY worth the wait. Great food, great portions, great service, great drinks, great value! Not possible to say one negative thing.... just PERFECTION!

Finding a breakfast in a strange town can be tricky, finding a good one is next to impossible. We were lucky enough to find this little gem. The place is smaller but very cozy. The staff was very nice (Taylor was so amazing seeing as we walked in right as they opened). They have a small window hat looks back... More

There are very few breakfast locations in Boston. We did not want to eat at the hotel and we were lucky on an early Sunday morning to get a table here. So cramped you really feel claustrophobic but the staff is friendly and the kitchen fast and good. Breakfast was prepared as we liked it. The corned beef hash was... More

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! Hair in my coffee, cream dumped on me, asked to leave a little over an hour into it so they could seat more people. We still had drinks! I lost it at that point and was told by Lisa that the check would be taken care of. I told her we had already paid and she said... More

Excellent venue for Breakfast or Lunch. There will probably be a line as this place is so popular with locals and tourists but it is well worth the wait and they provide benches outside so you can at least sit while waiting. Really hearty food and the generous portions set you up for the day, especailly as we are English... More

I have been a frequent visitor to the USA over the last few years, and in the last 4 or 5 years Ive always tried to visit places that have been recommended by others. Some have been good, some not so good, so when my wife suggested we try North Street Grille for breakfast. We found this diner in the... More

Brits abroad found this incredible Diner just off the tourist trail in North End. The staff, food and ambience was of the highest order. The staff cannot do enough to help and the breakfasts were to die for....unfortunately because of it's success you sometimes have to wait for a table but it is worth it Thanks to Rachel who was... Staying in North End

Neighborhood Profile
North End
Wandering around Boston’s North End can feel like being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s home, and follow the Freedom Trail to Old North Church and Copp’s Hill Burying Ground. Take a rest in a cafe on Hanover street and observe the quirky, European character of the North End.
