An amazing breakfast on our first day in Boston. We were really lucky to get a table as we hadn’t booked. We arrived early and staff kindly fitted us in. The food (breakfast nachos and lobster Benedict) was fantastic as was kind and friendly service.

We were lucky to get in despite not having a reservation. After a 30 minute wait on a random Thursday morning, we were seated at the bar where there was no legroom. Despite these minor inconveniences, the food was phenomenal. Pancakes were fluffy. Variety was...good and flavors unique. I had the very tasty Sweet and Salty Sandwich which kept me full til dinner. A good place to fill up for the day, just plan ahead and make a reservation.More

We had a reservation right at opening for breakfast on Saturday morning and that was the right move. There’s a line of people waiting to get in here for all of breakfast/brunch service. I ordered the chicken & waffles sliders and my husband got the...crab omelet. We loved our meals and agreed that the home fries were perfectly seasoned and the best breakfast potatoes we’ve had anywhere. Seriously, they are no side dish. I’m back home dreaming about those potatoes. The portions are ample so there’s no chance of leaving hungry. Our server was engaging and kept us filled up on drinks. We will definitely make this place a priority on future visits.More

This is the best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had! Made even better because I’ve got the lobster eggs Benedict. It was a nice lite hollandaise sauce with loads of flavor, my partner got one of their loaded omelettes which was huge and fluffy. They have...limited days that they’re open, if they didn’t this is the only place we would’ve had breakfast. It’s a small place so unless you’re able to sit outside you might feel a little bit crammed in there but it’s a great atmosphere.More

We stopped in for brunch on a Thursday at about noon. It didn’t seem very packed. There were open tables out doors. The inside is small. It was difficult to get anyone’s attention to get seated. We tried to walk up to the door and...were told to “see the hostess”. There was no hostess or stand for one anywhere. We were just about to walk away when someone finally walked to this makeshift table on the sidewalk. Please make your hostess stand more obvious; a sign or a person would be great. The food was good and so were the drinks so at least it had some redeeming qualities from the initial impression. I’d go back, but definitely get reservations if you can for busier days. It wasn’t very busy when we were there so I can imagine it can get crazy when it is busy.More

I was at North Street Grille for the first time yesterday. After waiting 35 minutes for a seat at the bar, my friend and I had the misfortune of sitting next to a drunken, foul-mouthed, racist, misogynist blow-hard! He kept saying "this is my last...drink, then I'm leaving", yet he kept drinking, and we kept waiting for someone on the staff to gently remind him that there are other patrons, and maybe he should rein in his filthy language - which included a description of a woman's vagina, and many utterances of the "n" word. Instead, the staff, including bar staff, thought he was funny, and kept pouring him fresh martinis. His car keys were on the bar. We left there with a bad taste in our mouths, which is too bad, because the food was actually good. I won't be back.More

Usually unimpressed by “worth the wait” BUT this gem is WORTH THE WAIT. Get on the reservation list and walk around Little Italy while you wait. The food is delicious and huge portions. The chicken and waffles sliders have the best syrup with a kick....Everything looks beautiful.More

We had breakfast here, which was excellent, tasty and fresh. Be prepared for a wait unless you have booked, mid week we were over 30 mins, but we’ll worth it

We had just arrived into Boston so we went here due to so many great reviews. The staff was super friendly and good food. One meal of the 3 (bacon & potatoes) came out cold which was sad but the flavor was good. I would...try again if we come back to Boston.More

The staff at our hotel recommended this restaurant for breakfast. We're glad that we listened to them. We had the North End Benedict and the Smoked Salmon Benedict. Both were beautifully presented and very tasty. Our server, Nicky, was very nice. We were advised to...get there before nine. We're glad we did because it got crowded by the time we left.More

This place is not open all week...maybe Thursday through Sunday, so we made reservations for Thursday morning. Good thing we did because it filled up as it is not a big place......but well worth it. The pancakes were unbelievably light, fluffy and delicious....I think I...could have ate three stacks. Wife had standard eggs, toast, potatoes and bacon....lots of food and the coffee was very good. A definite neighborhood joint.More
