We have only done room service, many times that is. The food and the service is consistently good, very good! Just had the crab cakes which were incredible, fresh, well seasoned.....just what a guest would expect from a Boston restaurant. Our toddler has enjoyed the food too, especially the juicy cheeseburger and curry chicken skewers. The breakfast smoothies are perfectly... More

My wife and I had an OK dinner here before the theatre. Would we return, probably not. Nothing was bad but there are a lot of better choices. She had the haddock and it was tasty but not memorable. I had the four oz. filet and enjoyed it. We had wine and dessert and the bill came to $110. The... More

Everyone here was so nice and the buffet was vast and high quality. The made to order egg station was great. We had breakfast here three mornings during our stay and the server remembered us, our drink orders and a lot about us. It was fantastic.

This restaurant is in the Hyatt. We stayed there and had the buffet. All the basics but made to order omelettes, pancakes and french toast were very good.

We know a good thing when we see it - ended up eating 3 meals in the hotel. Quick service and good food at a reasonable price. Highlights: The Lobster Grilled Cheese was full of lobster chunks; The Crab Cakes were almost all crab; they served fresh bread and seasoned olive oil for dipping; and sandwiches were loaded with fresh... Stayed at the Hyatt and had both breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. Fantastic quality and service. Breakfast buffet was a tad overpriced for a family of four but the food quality and options were excellent. Dinner was even better. Great value, the Cobb salad and Fish & Chips were superb. Kids meals were excellent value and got a big... More

We stayed in the Hyatt and the breakfast each morning was great. Very large variety of food: fruits/yoghurt /oatmeal /pastries/buffet and all frequently restocked right up to finish time which is great if you're late for breakfast. I had the vegetable risotto for dinner which was lovely but too large a portion. I declined to add meat to it as... More

The Chorizo Pâté is nice but comes with one bread stick, not enough to eat the Pâté with. The sirloin steak is nice but not the "10 or 12 oz" that the server said it was (he didn't know). Fish and chips are actually fish goujons. The waiter was unable to explain what role larger had in the chilli starter.... More

While our recent stay at the Hyatt Regency we decided to go for breakfast. Service starts at 6:30am until 10:30am. The first morning we had the buffet dinner where a chef prepares pancakes (with/without fruit), omelettes (you pick the ingredients), or eggs anyway you like. There is also a spread of Oatmeal, bacon, sausage, potatoes, and danish/croissants, etc. You get... More

I had the Boston burger and my husband had the lobster grilled cheese sandwich. Both were amazing! Our waiter was very attentive and helpful. We had a wonderful meal in a pleasant environment.

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
