My lunch included the enchilada meal which consisted of 2 enchiladas (filling of your choice), rice, and beans for $6! Chips and salsa are complimentary. Margaritas were on special for $5. Everything was very good, including the service. Restaurant is downstairs and was a little dark. I would definitely recommend and go back.

Stopped in for lunch as we were in the mood for Mexican. Good sized portions for a great price especially given other sit down options in the area. Service was amazing - Cheryl was very nice and accommodating to our requests. Special made a margarita for my husband. Food was very good as well. For anyone who likes things spicy... More

Always like stopping by Zuma's when in town. Great selection of tequila's and margarits's. Food is very good had a grilled corn on the cob that was on the specials list that was very tasty as well as a steak quesadilla this town. The Fajita's are also very good with a decent portion size and they have decent wings also.

Decided to eat here on a whim, one of whom is a vegetarian. She had no issues finding something. I got the taco salad with chicken. The portion was huge, but there was a tremendous amount of liquid (water?) at the bottom of the bowl which left the shell soggy. The prickly pear margarita was especially delicious. The service was... More

As a local I was surprised to never have noticed this place; Although its subterranean location isn't easily seen from the craziness of Faneuil Hall it was totally worth it. Great authentic decor greets you; but the food is definitely the winner here. I've tried all the other local chains and well ZUMA is shoulders above. I had the burrito... More

Me and my other half stumbled across this little beauty one night after going out late for something to eat (most places only serve food til 10pm). The food was very tasty and exceptional value. We both couldn't finish our meals and both cost under $15 each, you get nachos brought to your table upon arrival and these are filled... More

We were hungry for sure but this place really hit the spot The carnitas and classic hard shell tacos were both tremendous. And you have to try the roasted corn on the cob. Service was great and the kids really liked it as well.

My first visit to Zuma Tex-Mex was many years ago, and the quality and variety have been maintained, as has the value. The $5 House Margarita was a welcome refreshment on a very hot day. The chips & salsa were above average, my wood grilled chicken was delicious, and the price was right. This restaurant offers true value in a... More

The atmosphere was maybe a little too dark, but the service was good and there was a wide selection on the menu, including some vegan friendly choices.

I discovered Zuma back in 1996 when I worked and lived in the Boston area. It was the scene of many dinners and numerous after work happy hours. So, while visiting Boston this past weekend, I didn't hesitate to again drop in for lunch! Great thing about Zuma is even though it is located in the Quincy Market area, tourists... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
