Have you ever traveller with a picky eater? Sometimes travelling with family can lead to fights when it comes to choose a restuarsnt. After strolling Faneuil hall a few rounds, we settled on zuma tex mex and had our best meal in Boston. Don't be scared that you have to go into the basement of the building! We had a... More

Great food, loads of it at a reasonable price-what's not to like! Free tortilla chips and salsa on arrival which are the best on the planet. Eaten here plenty of times and will continue to!

Food wasn't that bad. Good chips and salsa. Bathrooms very small and dirty. Service needs vast improvement. Host was friendly though. Bartender could care less about you. Tvs to watch sports. Would be nice if each tv had something different on it, but that's ok. We have been here a few times. Many drink selections. The food taste varies with... More

Went here on a friends recommendation, food and service both 1st class, tried some new Mexican food, we were all impressed with the taste and portion sizes. Only thing to let this place down is the condition of some of the furniture, but don't let this put you off. Also a great location near Quincy's market. Highly recommended

Visited early evening, fairly quiet. Good service, food was tasty and good quality. I had the chicken Burrito, my wife had Fish Tacos, both very good. Nice drinks, good value, would recommend.

It was good food , however you can eat good Mexican food anywhere, I personally wish our group had picked something more to the quaintness of the Market. Good Margaritas!

When I have a "Boys Weekend" with my two kids and take them into Boston, we frequently end up at Zuma Tex-Mex. It's nowhere near my favorite Mexican place in Boston, but it is super convenient when wandering around or near Quincy Market. It's also a reasonable place to take two loud boys and find food that both of them... More

A friend and I wandered in here recently on a weekday mid-afternoon while I was visiting the area. She had recalled the location but not the name. It is on the lower level beneath some shops within the Faneuil Hall Marketplace. It was darkly-lit, but inviting and we wanted a cool place to sit and have a margarita, and this... More

If you're looking for a local place to grab a cheap and strong margarita, I highly recommend going here. The drawback is that there is no outside patio and you're downstairs - the margaritas are worth it though and especially on a dark and dreary day, there's no place better! You can get half a grilled chicken with 2 sides... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
