The Chocolate Bar at Cafe Fleuri in the Langham Hotel is a delicious paradise! The desserts are amazing both in appearance and taste and plentiful with lots of variety and flavors. There was even a vegan section, which I didn't try, but good to know about! It's pricey, but perfect for a special treat or in celebration of an occasion.

You have to go for brunch! Splurge and treat yourself and go with friends or family. You have to book ahead of time or you won't get a seat. There are so many options for food, even your pickiest eater will stuff themselves. And did I mention a chocolate fountain- yes a chocolate fountain. Just go you will thank me... More

Truthfully, you're better off at a local diner. My singular experience here was very bad, and ran the gamut of wrong order to pissy waiter, no coffee, and an apologetic but non-compensating management. Just get a couple of sunny-side-up eggs nearby. You're better off...

We booked the Chocolate Buffet for Saturday lunch, it did not disappoint. The sheer number of choices would have satisfied anyone's sweet palette. Service for drinks was good and the decor was beautiful. An experience to be savored.

I spent the weekend at the Langham and dined at Cafe Fleuri twice -- for the Chocolate Buffet and the Sunday City Brunch. The Chocolate Buffet was heavenly. Every type of chocolate dessert imaginable. Their mousse based desserts were the best. Their cake based desserts were o oh good -- some were slightly dry. The crepe station was loads of... More

My wife and I found ourselves in downtown Boston during a workday to meet a friend from out of town for lunch. We had dined at Cafe Fleuri before (their wonderful Saturday breakfast buffet), but this was our first for this hour on this day of the week. There were a lot of business lunches going on, but the ambience... More

Located in the Langham Hotel, Cafe Fleuri serves the best corned beef hash and eggs that you are ever going to find. The outside of the hash is a little crispy, but inside it is soft and nothing but delicious. The egg is served nicely on top of the hash; it is visually stunning. At $23, it's not cheap, but... Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
