Rich egg drop soup, very good seafood dishes, good chicken. Pleasant service, not very crowded for lunch.

We ordered Peking duck. Average as the skin, supposed to be crispy, had quite a bit of fat on it. The waitress recommended the clams with black bean sauce. She said they were fresh. Well, maybe fresh last month. Perhaps her boss said push the...clams. Terrible. Indoor dining was open on 8/23/21. Please go elsewhere.More

I looked forward to getting back to indoor dining at this old haunt of mine. But the food was quite sub par. Bland lo mein was the only thing I ordered here this time as I cautiously retried this former classic. Perhaps more "authentic" food...would have been better but I was alone.More

Our hotel concierge recommended this restaurant. General Gau chicken very good. Beef & broccoli was good. Orange beef was OK. House fried rice was fair.

The food got better with every bite. The only thing we wished is that we had someone who was more familiar with the food to order for us. There was a table next to ours with 3 college age guys and one of the guys...ordered for the table and that food looked and smelled amazing. I would highly recommend this restaurantMore

Close to the Chinatown gates on the corner of beach and Tyler. We had the Peking ravioli ($4.85) and the clams in black bean sauce ($15.95). The ravioli are oily but it’s really good flavor with hint of fresh ginger. It’s not too heavy. The...clams in black bean sauce were a good sized portion. The clams were fresh and flavorful. The clams were a bit chewy but again had good flavor. Minimum of $30.00 bill to use a credit card. Complementary tea when you sit in. Decent amount of space compared to some of the smaller joints. Total was like $25.00 but it was good.More

For those of you who can read Chinese, the Chinese menu at Peach Farm offers dishes not listed on the English menu. Dad ordered off the Chinese menu when we were here for lunch. We had very tasty food, although perhaps not to American palettes:...fried short ribs, soft shelled whole shrimp and squid. The restaurant does not look very inviting to American eyes, down a few steps into a basement, no windows, not recently painted or cared for. The number of diners was indicative of this. However, they seem to do a healthy takeout business and the food was good.More

Busy Saturday night in Chinatown. We stopped in for dinner before a show at the Paramount. To say that the place lacks atmosphere is an understatement. Pretty much a basement with walls and tables. But the food is worth it. Our server was a gem...and he was affable and very quick with our order. We tried the wok-fried lobster "Hong Kong" style which our server recommended to me as I like spice and heat. Delicious and at $30 for a whole lobster a bargain. Salt and pepper shrimp were huge, tasty and fresh. Pork lo mien was delicious with thin noodles that needed no soy at all. The generous bowl of hot and sour soup made my nose run after finishing it. So good and soul-satisfying it was! Again, go here for the food not the room. Our table was right at the kitchen door next to boxes of beer, but hey, it's Chinatown. There are places with a lot more style, ambiance and calm but but if you want the real deal, come here.More

Peach Farm have been been serving the people here in Boston as far as I can remember. Their food is always good. Just focus on the food. Please don’t mind the surroundings as well as the ambience. As it looks really tired and worn out....The crispy fried pork ribs with garlic are really nice and flavorful — don’t miss this The steamed scallops are big and sweet. Please try it... Stir fried Twin lobster are also goodMore

Food: Mediocre. Nothing special. We had their seafood and they were nothing extraordinary. The lobster in Quincy Market are heaps better. Price: Expensive for the quality of food. You might as well eat street food. Service: Terrible. The staff could barely speak English. I tipped...them 15% before leaving, but our server chased us to the door telling us that we need to give at least 20%. For the food and service that I had, they should be glad that I tipped them at all. What a joke of a restaurant. Eat somewhere else. Their service does Boston a disservice if you are a just visiting.More

Always good for a late night meal after clubbing hours.. expect a long line around that time , somehow it’s always good when you either are tipsy or drunk. One of the best place in Chinatown for authentic Chinese food. Great staffs whose been there...forever. We tend to over ordered food everytime when we all lost the battle to almighty liquor that we drank earlier at the club. If you want good food stop by here , can’t go wrong here .More

The lobster comes fresh from the aquarium and they show you the one you are getting. The scallops with garlic were very good. The veggies were a bit too fatty. The place looks a bit shabby so not suited for formal business lunches.

I never write reviews for "bad" restaurants, but this is the exception. I went to the restaurant alone as I was taking a weekend in Boston. I am seated, served my drink, then when I go to order am told it's a $30 minimum! WTH?...I'm ALONE and not taking the leftovers so what am I going to do with $30 of food? He asked if I had CASH! I did but just paid for my soda and left. I've been here a number of times with friends and at least once alone and was never told this. Unreal.More
