Met colleague for business discussion. Wrong place for that! Very popular place clearly and sound just reverberated around. Service was good. Choice of meals was pretty standard for a diner/bar. I had tuna melt. It was huge and way too much. A little overdone on the bread, tuna melt part was fine. Partners chili looked ok. Nothing out of the... More

We were greeted by very friendly and accommodating staff. Loved the vibe of this place: dark, busy, and good music. Delicious nachos and huge burgers. Our server was working very hard and was very eager to help us out. Had a great meal here!

Convenient location just off the north east corner of Boston Common. Strangely dark, decent music and huge portions of food. I had a fantastic burger, my girlfriend had the club sandwich and struggled to finish half of it. Tasted great and the service was also good.

This place was highly recommended to me by a local and was literally around the corner from my hotel. I walked in after 8 on a Saturday & seating was no problem. First off, the place is ridiculously dark. I saw one couple using the lights from their phones to read the menu. I myself used the candle on the... More

I use to live in North quince. Found this place & highly recommend it to anyone. Steak tips are my favorite but the wings are good & salads fresh & delicious. Great service & readable priced! Enjoy!!

We were looking for somewhere to have a bite on our first night visiting Boston when we found this restaurant on trip advisor and decided to give it try. When we arrived the place was packed and we put our names down for a table and went over to the bar for a drink and were promptly attended to by... More

We were tired from a day of travel and evening of walking around Boston. Our first choice for dinner was booked with a one and a half hour wait. We were near the Boston Commons and an internet search brought up a few restaurants. The Silvertone is easy to get to from the nearby the Park Street T station. Service... More

We were there Friday night and there is no line (which is great because all the other famous pub/clubs are swarmed by the locals and tourists alike= LOOONG lines. ) We already had dinner but we ordered, nachos, fries and WINGS (best buffalo wings in Boston for me) Beer is a lot cheaper (well i am from NJ/NY so I... Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
