Limited menu but everything was spot on. Sandwiches made to order with first rate meats, cheeses, bread and toppings. A tad slow but well worth the wait. Don't miss this one!

The long line didn't deter me I ordered a sandwich with prosciutto mozzarella balsamic vinegar and I don't event remember what else but it tasted to good. Monica's is a neighborhood classic!

The staff was friendly and personable with keen knowledge of their options. The bread for the sandwich was fresh baked and the food was homemade and delicious.

Easily the best subs in the city. I lived in Boston for 6 years and in the Northend for 2 of them. The classic Italian is awesome but I suggest the Italian steak tip for a hot sandwich. They make an awesome steak tip or...More

The best Italian sub in the city. Quality meats and cheese sliced fresh for each sandwich. Don't forget to hit up the pizza place in the basement too. Awesome stuff all around!

All of us locals know this place has the best sandwiches but the “secret” is you can get them as a salad as well. Enjoy!

Monica’s restaurants are worth the visit. Now they have an alimentari similar to what you might find in Italy. Worth the visit to shop and eat.

My friends recommended this place for lunch, ordered the Italian and Cuban sub. Both were excellent. The large subs are quite a bit of food. Took my parents later and we also tried the Italian cold cuts, they did not skimp out on the meat....More

If you want a tasty lunch make sure to check out Monicas. Order the small unless you want a foot of bread and meats. Don’t go if you’re in a rush though. They hand make all sandwiches on the spot and thats a slow process.

being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and
Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants,
bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part
in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or
Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma
sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s
home, and follow the Freedom Trail to Old North Church

Like Dianne mentioned. They have a dinner restaurant across the street. They actually have three places, the Deli, the Restaurant and also have a separate entrance around the corner for their delicious Pizza.
