Long story short, don’t waste your valuable time at this place unless you have plenty of time to kill!!! I just moved to here in Boston from other country and I’ve been tried couple restaurants here so far. Most of them are awesome and very...More

It smells like chocolate heaven when you walk in the door! The signature chocolate martini is by far the best I have ever had. The mug of hot chocolate, non alcoholic is also delicious! I was in Boston for girls weekend and we hit Max...More

Don't waste your time dining here. The food is only average. There are plenty of better places to eat. Popular spot for teen bday parties. I can see the allure of this place for a bunch of young girls. My daughters made me go here...More

Tight accommodations and loud, which is good if you have kids. Big negative is they were out of draft beer and Stella. Ask before you sit down or you be stuck with Blue moon. Service is slow. Quesadilla app is good but enough for a...More

We visited Boston from Australia for my 40th birthday and on my actual birthday we were looking for someone easy for dinner with kids after spending the day at Harvard and then the evening at the museum of fine arts. This place worked great. Menu...More

Great place for dinner. Menu was interesting, enough variety to satisfy everyone in our party (2 carnivores and a vegetarian). Desserts to die for!!! I actually overdosed on chocolate, which is something I never thought I'd ever say. Service was good, prices were reasonable, atmosphere...More

We were there for the marathon and had walked all over the city Saturday so when we walked past the restaurant and saw chocolate it was a no brainer to go in, warm up and have lunch. The portions are large enough to share, we...More

Was in Boston for a conference and a friend recommended for lunch. Had a great bacon and avocado sandwich with waffle fries! Was with a group of 4 and everyone loved their meals. Since we didn’t have time for desert, we purchased a hot chocolate...More

Rude staff, slow service and their were mouse traps set up throughout the dining room. Big mistake choosing this place for our day in Boston.

Description
Max Brenner, Chocolate by the Bald Man, the first restaurant entirely devoted to chocolate, provides a "chocolate mood:" a person being surrounded by huge bricks, candles, pralines, colorful toy tins and crates filled with cocoa beans. Each person"s chocolate experience is exclusive to the individual as it brings out different emotions in each and every person. This can be experienced at our retail shop and dining room. In addition to our unique chocolate, we also offer delicious savory foods. Whether it is our famous Brenner Burger or Mac & Cheese, there will be something for everyone in the group!
