Very dark restaurant so we sat at the bar by the window although we were asked twice if we were sure we wanted to sit there! Pizza was good although make your own turned out to be far most expensive (GF and 3 toppings close to $30!!) while my boyfriends pizza was $15. We were handed the check while chewing... More

We ordered take out pizza and the pizzas were ready when we arrived. When the hostess opened the boxes to make sure that we had the right pizzas, the aroma was heavenly. We walked home and devoured the pizzas. Delicious.

Spent a few days in Boston, we stayed in Charlestown, so a 1/2 mile walk to the North End. I have eaten Pizza at some of the most famous places in NY, NJ, CHI & SF. This some of the best. Start with the fig salad you won't be disappointed. A must is the SPUKONE pizza. Absolutely amazing.

We were visiting relatives in Boston area and met with niece in town and she recommended and booked table for us. Busy evening and many places very busy and we were late for reservation but no problem and we all enjoyed great pasta meals which is rare to satisfy 20+ yr old son and teen daughter. Good service and after... More

Went there for dinner Saturday night. We had reservations and were seated at the exact time. For a north end restaurant on a summer Saturday, it was of course crowded but unlike some, the seating was comfortable and we weren't packed in. We shared an antipasto and calamari and both were fresh and delicious. We also shared two pizzas, on... More

I have nothing but good things to say about my experience at Benevento's. We got two of the best pizzas we have ever had for under $30, the staff was wonderful, and the restaurant environment was quite nice. A must try if you find yourself in the area.

Food is average. Service is friendly. The scam is even you have a reservation if they have the opportunity to give your table away they will and then pretend you didn't make a reservation. We showed up on time for a reservation for 10 people and we had confirmed it the day before by phone, and had email confirmation which... More

We wanted to try authentic Pizza in the North End and this restaurant was well worth the trip. The Margarita Pizza was delicious, the crust and sauce were scrumptious. The other Pizza was sausage and ricotta. This was one of the best pizzas I've ever tasted. Also, the fight salad was a great start. The salad is enough to share... More

Had a very early dinner here last week (4:30 pm) so we got right in. The restaurant is small so if you have a large party I would go at an off time. The food was delicious and the service was great. The wood fire pizza was fresh and out of this world. The place has tons of tvs on... More

Yes, that's what my son said as we sat for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We were seated immediately and the place was packed at 2:30pm. We ordered a traditional cheese pizza and a side of meatballs. Excellent pizza. Delicious meatballs and sauce. We went through two baskets of bread also. If we weren't going for cannoli after,... Staying in North End

Neighborhood Profile
North End
Wandering around Boston’s North End can feel like being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s home, and follow the Freedom Trail to Old North Church and Copp’s Hill Burying Ground. Take a rest in a cafe on Hanover street and observe the quirky, European character of the North End.
