Second trip to Benevento's this year. We were a larger group of two families (4 adults and three kids) but were seated quickly. Our waitress was excellent, very knowledgeable, friendly and her recommendations were spot on. It was a cold wet day and the staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The food was excellent.... More

Let's get the 1 good thing out of the way. The food was delicious. I am rating 1 star because of the horrible service. We had a table of 5 and they sat us down stairs by the bathroom which totally takes away from the vibe upstairs (kitchen is open to the dining room). To start, we had a broken... More

We got off to a slow start as it took 40 minutes to get a bottle of wine. Once we let the waitress know we were on a time restraint things got better. Waitress was super friendly and became attentive. Food was outstanding. We had a gluten free member in our party who took advantage of the GF pasta option.... More

My wife and I stopped in for lunch. It's a small place, and a little dark, but it was clean and the staff was friendly. We sat in the back, where there's only 2 tables, and we could look down upon the cooks, which was interesting. The waitress was friendly and recommended the homemade fusilli with my chicken parm. She... More

Friendly staff, excellent fig salad. Pepperoni was very good. The sausage (spukineo) had a different taste than I'm used to, might have been the ricotta. It wasn't bad just different. Parking a couple blocks away on Cooper st.

We had 8:30 reservations and arrived at 8. There were three of us and we waited at the bar and then chose to eat there instead of at a table. Typical north end place where tables are crowded in. Good drinks at the bar. Sangria was too sweet for me, but other guest loved it. Expresso martini is great! I... More

Went here for our trip to the North End for a nice Italian dinner. My wife and oldest daughter are GF and my little one and I are not. Call them up on a Tuesday night and was told come on down, no waiting at 7pm. We took a Lyft from our hotel in Cambridge and got there at 7:10pm... More

Got a reservation but didn't need it at 6 pm on a Thursday. Delicious food, huge portions. Friendly staff. Highly recommend!

We popped in here on a Saturday night for a drink while we were waiting for a table at another restaurant. We never left! We had a great seat at the bar and the bartender was enjoyable to chat with. The food was DELICIOUS! We started off with the bruschetta. It was perfect. I had the bolognese and the best... More

Staying in North End

Neighborhood Profile
North End
Wandering around Boston’s North End can feel like being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s home, and follow the Freedom Trail to Old North Church and Copp’s Hill Burying Ground. Take a rest in a cafe on Hanover street and observe the quirky, European character of the North End.
