I rarely ever write reviews but this is a must. Benevento’s was the best restaurant we went to in Boston. We didn’t have any reservations and they politely accommodated us. It’s a small, casual, comfortable place with a great host and several friendly waitresses. The...best of all was their food! The chicken tortellini soup was delicious - it tasted just like a homemade chicken soup. The rigatoni short rib was one of the best dishes I’ve ever had in an Italian restaurant. The truffle oil in it was superb! This will now be a staple restaurant in our trips to Boston. We will most certainly be back!More

A total rip off!!!! 4 ravioles for $15 dollars! $3.75 each ravioli that you eat! Make the math how much profit are you making?

We went to Benevento’s at the recommendation of our tour guide, Tyler. We were not disappointed!! The wait staff was friendly and welcoming and allowed us to take our time and enjoy their wonderful restaurant. We ordered the puttanesca with meatballs on fettuccine. It was...amazing! Our friends ordered the pesto over the homemade fusilli. The pasta and pesto combination was perfect and melted in your mouth. We had a delightful time. I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant in Boston.More

Casual and fairly small place. Make a reservation - they get very busy with walk-ins but are good about keeping reservation times. Food is always delicious. It’s one of those places where you will over eat because portions are huge and it’s so good it’s...hard to stop eating. We come to Boston at least once a year and we make it a point to come here every single trip. Have been to some other places on North End that were also good but this place is soooo good we stopped trying other spots.More

We stopped here for lunch while walking the Freedom Trail (it isn't right on it, but just a little walk away). As a family of four, I thought it was a little pricey to order the food we wanted, so we just got a couple...of small pizzas and called it a day. Pizza was good enough, but nothing to write home about in my opinion.More

Very good pasta dinner. We didn’t want to wait at the restaurant we picked originally so walked down the street & found this little gem. Tight fit at the table but whatever. Pasta dish, salad were great. Our server Heather was sweet & attentive.

Small establishment, nice decor, good service, terrible pizzas. We ordered 2 pizzas, both were overcooked and were like eating shoe leather.

We had lunch here on a rainy Saturday, no reservation, sat inside (5 of us). It's tight inside but cozy. We had the Margherita pizza and a sausage pizza. The fresh mozzarella, basil, garlic, and tomatoes on the Margherita made for one of the best...pizzas I've had. We loved it. Had reservations for Sunday night for 6 ans sat on tge quaint and comfortableback patio. We all loved our dishes. Ameritricia, vodka sauce, lasagna, and a couple of bottles of red wine. ❤️. The bruschetta is fresh, but not remarkable, and the bread and butter before dinner was just ok. We would 100% recommend the fresh pasta they make. It was a memorable evening of fun, good food and laughter made possible by lovely staff.More

Wow, what great service, pizza, and selections of wine! The pizza selection is excellent and you can do 1/2 and 1/2. We also asked for olive oil with our bread basket and they really made it good with very good olive oil and herbs! We...went with the Jenn’s Chianti recommendation which was fantastic! The service from everyone was super but Jenn was The Best! Thank you all for a wonderful experience!More

I actually thought that I was entering El Dente to order Veal Valentino that I had seen on their online menu. They are next door to one another. Sydney Joseph was my server. She was incredibly special! Due to my mistake I was going to...stay here because of Sydney. She told me that they are connected to El Dente and that she could have them bring the dish over to me. It was delicious. Sydney made that special effort and was amazing and made my first night in the North End Special. It's always the special people who make everything special and Sydney Is as special as special as they come. She is a true Gem for Benevento's!!!More

We’ve been going to Benevento’s every time we’re in town for 10 years. NEVER a bad experience. The only place I order veal. I do order Marsala anywhere I can get it, and theirs is the BEST! Get the fusilli pasta, they make it in-house....Pizzas are equally awesome. Wood fired. I took a chance on the “shrimp scampi” pizza this time, and, again, awesomeness! Don’t eat TD Garden overpriced crap, or stupid frozen fried bar food before the game. Eat here!More

Yes. As you have seen others comment, you are near Mike's Pastry, but I would try the dessert here. After leaving, swing by Mike's and get a slice of Boston Cream Pie to go. It is AWESOME!
