5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

There were 6 of us and we each got something different and all of it was great! Really cute place - we sat downstairs. The waitress was great and super friendly! It's in a great location too - lots of restaurants around

The Barbera wine was excellent, the alfredo was good tasting but skimpy in the sauce, my vegan daughter had difficultly with the food, my wife enjoyed her meal of linguini and clams. The service was prompt and friendly.

4 of us had lunch here on a Sunday afternoon. My daughter-in-law heard good reviews and booked a reservation on Open Table. We sat next to the window and had amazing service & hospitality. Maria was wonderful! The Sangria was terrific! We highly recommend this restaurant when visiting the North End in Boston. The veal parmigiana was a hit also!

Very good pesto sauce, not the convencional recipe. We really enjoy it. Try to set as far away as possible from the last part of the bar, the staff that prepare or receive the plates from the kitchen are very noisy. But the food and the service were very good.

Recently ate dinner here and I shared two entrees with the person I went with: eggplant parm and shrimp and calamari fra diavlo. Both were terrific, eggplant was lightly fried but had a very rich taste. The fra diavlo had a nice kick to it. The service was awesome and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Great dinner.

I had the Chicken Benevento and it was totally delicious. I was with 3 friends and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The wait staff was attentive. You absolutely need to make a reservation if you are planning to go on Saturday.

We went to celebrate my daughters move into her first apartment in Brighton. We have eaten in many restaurants in the North End, upon a recommendation by someone my husband works with we decided to try it. We were not disappointed. Our server Valeria was a delight and so pleasant. Our daughter ordered the Fruite de mare and said it... More

Great service! Delicious Italian food. The veal saltimbuca was so tender and delicious. Eggplant parm was authentic Italian with homemade pasta. The spinach crepes were an awesome appetizer! Would definitely return on my next trip to Boston.

I would recommend a reservation as this restaurant is always packed. The food is amazing. The smell of food cooked in the he wood fired oven is intoxicating. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable and the staff very friendly.

Staying in North End

Neighborhood Profile
North End
Wandering around Boston’s North End can feel like being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s home, and follow the Freedom Trail to Old North Church and Copp’s Hill Burying Ground. Take a rest in a cafe on Hanover street and observe the quirky, European character of the North End.
