Black Friday shopping in the Prudential Center...wanted a bite, stayed for 3 hours! We, (5 of us), sat in the bar area and gorged on their delicious burgers and various libations...a good time was had by all and we were never rushed by the staff.

I whizzed in here & was going to take out. But on seeing a few solo dinners at the bar decided to eat in. I had the house burger & fries. Can't fault the burger. But the fries were overdone. But within a prompt I was offered a replacement-which I refused & they were knocked off my bill -no quibble... More

Laid back restaurant. Brought dill pickles to the table and kept them coming. Delicious burgers and good fries. Loved the cloth napkins and atmosphere - great place for family and friends. Will be back.

Was in Boston for business and heard about 5 Napkin. The best burger and bun I've ever had. What compliment the burger is an adult milkshake. The service was perfect and not noisy. They do have an area for small groups. Within walking distance to Back Bay and adjacent to the Prudential Place. I will be going back.

I always check with a restaurant before being seated to find out if they serve peanuts or use peanut oil for frying (I have an allergy). So I asked a server when I entered and she even checked with another and both said no -- no peanuts, no peanut oil. Great. We were seated and started to review the menu... More

New twists on large, fresh burgers (including turkey, chicken, and vegetarian options)! I enjoyed the blue cheese drenched spicy chicken and a side of sweet potato fries. The price was reasonable for Boston ($14 per burger) and service was friendly. Full bar available.

Stopped in for a late lunch after arriving in Boston. We didn't want to stray too far from the hotel since we were heading out to the Bruins game later that evening so we stopped in when we saw it. My son and I each ordered a Bacon Cheese Burger which was $14.00 - just for the burger. If you... More

Neighborhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
