I would say 3 and a half stars. Better than average. The burger was big and juicy, with a nice variety of toppings. Fries were average to slightly below average but the stack of onion rings was very good. Agreed that it is a little pricey but not incredibly so for what you get.

My husband and I saw this restaurant on our first day in Boston, so I knew we'd have to stop in before we left. Luckily, we really didn't need 5 napkins, but a juicy burger anyway. We started with the pimento cheese potato skins, which were spicy and good. We both ordered the original 5N burgers, which were great with... More

$17 for a burger and a cup of fries is a little over my price expectation for a burger. The burger was dry, the service was slow. I waited 10 minutes for my server to even come offer me a drink after his boss had to go and find him. They use the glass bottled ketchup that is hard to... More

Ate alone while away on business. Simple menu, helpful staff and good range of beer. It was good to have a burger cooked to order and medium rare. V tasty burger and fillings. Worth coming here to see what a proper burger should taste like. Cheese cake was ok, nothing special.

We stopped in for lunch while at the Pru and decided to try their poutine as well as their avocado ranch burger, both were delicious! The poutine was nice and hot and the gravy was perfect, only down side was the fries were a bit soggy. The burger was delicious and perfectly cooked. I also had a chocolate shake which... More

During a week-long vacation in Boston, we had the total pleasure of enjoying the patio, sun and food at the 5 Napkin Burger in Boston. I’m unable to eat gluten and so finding a spot with great food that the whole family can eat at and enjoy, is often a chore. Initially, we went in to ask about a gluten... More

Had a great Burger Salad and my husband had the original. Both of us were very happy with our selections. Fries were really good too! Salad has this wonderful creamy dressing throughout. Burgers came exactly as ordered. Did I really need 5 Napkins for this meal? Not really, juicy burgers for sure, but not that intense!!

Get inside before the lunch crowd or you will be out of luck. Even though it is regularly crowded, they were out of menu items before the lunch crowd even arrived which we found odd. The noise level is low as people's burgers are so huge that they are constantly chewing. Don't bypass the salad items as they are terrific.

We stopped here as our first location when we got to Boston. Our little guy had a gourmet grilled cheese with hand cut fries and ate more than he usually does. We each had a burger, the classic was amazing! The sweet potato fries and the "tater tots" were to die for! Good beer selection, cocktails, and milkshakes, but we... More

We had lunch here after our Duck boat tour. The burgers are all very large 10 oz to be exact. We went with the original 5 Napkin burger and it was cooked to our desired level. The burgers were delicious and cooked just right. Fries came with it and were also very good. The service was good and attentive. My... More
