I actually ordered delivery to my hotel room and they did an amazing job. Make sure you order about an hour before you want to eat because they are always busy. Even with the long wait, our pizza was still hot when it arrived and they even gave us paper plates and napkins! Highly recommend doing this anytime you do... More

Italian express has a great selection. Parking can be a bit of a problem so consider carryout. You can call ahead and they will have your order ready when you arrive. CASH ONLY!

I ordered a pizza to go. Nice staff and good pizza. And it was really fast. But the place is small and noise. And there is no place to stay while waiting the pizza to get ready.

Hi Rana, Thank you for your review and compliments. Yes, our dining room is a bit on the smaller side and when it gets busy, can be a little noisy with people enjoying their food and talking with each other. But, at the same time, we play great music and it's a friendly social atmosphere. Additionally, there are plenty of... More

First let me say that I'm Italian so it takes a lot to impress me at an Italian restaurant. My brother insisted that we try some food. We ordered the raviolis and meatballs. The ravioli was excellent, the meatballs were good. We also ordered the eggplant rolls which were good but not the best we have ever had. We also... More

We sampled a pretty broad range of menu items and liked it all. Maybe the best cheese pizza I've ever eaten. Not many seats, make reservations or don't be afraid to carry out a couple of pies. You won't be disappointed.

I was all hyped to try this restaurant after reading all the reviews, but left thinking the food was only above average. We had the meatballs, chicken parmesan and pizza. The meatballs were ok, as was the chicken parmesan. We thought the pizza was meh, and that Regina Pizzeria had much better pizza. Don't get me wrong. the Italian Express... More

This place really is great. My husband, son and I ordered a white clam pizza and calamari linguine to share and it was amazing! The portions are large so we had more than enough and the value is great too. The service exceeded expectations, very attentive and personable. We saw the Diners, Drive-ins and Dives episode and had wanted to... More

Party of 6. We had a warm welcome and the usual wait for such a large party without a reservation. Everything was beyond our expectations. The meatballs were perfect. The Fettucine Alfredo (with/without broccoli) was divine. The antipasto salad was huge! And the cannolis were the perfect touch to finish the meal. Overall, possibly the greatest Italian restaurant experience ever.... More

If you are craving a real neighborhood Italian restaurant with homemade everything....this is it. We live in San Diego and I am very picky about my Italian food as I grew up in Northern NJ...I miss restaurants like Jim's. He's a gem, takes time to sit w you while taking your order. It's like family. The food is flat out... More

Everything we had was so delicious. We ordered the side of meatballs, Rolled Egglant Meninoxi, Chicken Pesto Pizza, Chicken Bancon Ranch Pizza, and the Frutti Di Mare with homemade fettuccine. We brought a cannoli and piece of red velvet cake home with us because we were stuffed and the desserts were equally amazing. Can't wait to try more stuff on... More
