Easily accessible, great location, super seafood and a wonderful place to eat. The crab cakes were really yummy and the lobster pasta was really good. A good place for Boston seafood . It does get crowded and busy even on weekdays since it is right in Ken,,ore square. I would recommend making reservation ahead of time in order to spare... More

Went with group prior to the Red Sox game- and just didn't want to leave- We sat @ the bar and had a lesson on different kinds and tastes of oysters by the bar tender.... they also give you a sampling of your choice- The oysters are fresh and picked to perfection by the staff- the drinks were not bad... Ate here with family and it was truly wonderful. Their fish dishes are cooked to perfection and are quite large. I had the salmon which was beautifully prepared. Others had the halibut which was also really tasty. We also enjoyed a cup of clam chowder, oysters and two desserts. Their wonderful banana dessert was great as was their blueberry buckle.... More

On a trip to Boston we were fortunate enough to get time to visit a number of restaurants and this one certainly deserves its rating and position. The food is great quality and if you are lucky to get a table outside it is a wonderful place to eat outside (albeit we were fortunate to have some shade on what... More

My husband and I went with his father and step-mother on Saturday, and it was a lovely evening. We ordered lots of oysters, as well as the salmon tartar, eggplant & shishito peppers sides, clam chowder, & fried clams. The service was impeccable. Lindsay and Elana took great care of us, and we were seriously impressed and grateful. We'll definitely... More

Great atmosphere, great service. We had a dozen oysters and shrimp cocktail to start and both apps were fresh and fantastic. Clam chowder was more watery than I like and again, flavor was lacking 2 in our party had the lobster roll. Although it was a more than generous portion, the lobster salad just didn't have any flavor, it was... More

We went to ICOB on a Sunday night with a group of 6 people. The service was amazing, they were very attentive and helpful, willing to explain anything on the menu. Drinks were great, beer selection on point, cocktails and mixed drinks delicious and well balanced. This was my first time having oysters....I am glad I waited! Incredibly fresh and... More

We couldn't make up our mind as to which oysters we should have so they bought us a selection - they were delicious. We also had salmon tartare and the crab cakes both of which were also excellent. I ordered a buttermilk biscuit out of curiosity - it was divine but should really be on the dessert menu, however that... More

I love lobster rolls. I've eaten many lobster rolls over the years and I think I know what makes a good one. I only eat the CT variety -- warm lobster drizzled in melted butter (no mayo). It's soooo easy to prepare -- one expects an EXCELLENT lobster roll at a place like this. I could have forgiven the too... More

Staying in Fenway / Kenmore

Neighborhood Profile
Fenway / Kenmore
The Curse of the Bambino may have ended years ago, but loyal Red Sox fans will continue to infiltrate this home to historic Fenway Park, where you can find victory banners, people yelling in stereotypical Boston accents, and lots of sports bars. Located within Kenmore Square, the old gas station Citgo sign is another Boston skyline classic seen throughout the city. In addition to a hectic and diehard sports mentality, this neighborhood is also home to some of Boston’s many universities. Move from Boston University territory to that of Northeastern, and spend time at the famous Museum of Fine Arts. For more culture, check out the smaller but equally beautiful Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Continue off the beaten path and check out the green space in the Back Bay Fens, a pretty community garden. This diverse neighborhood has a mix of universities, sports, culture, and more residential green space.
