Stopped by for lunch on 8/24. Our party of three all enjoyed our food. Had a male server, name unknown, who was hard to understand. I had Chicken Marsala which was excellent. I asked for white pasta as a side, but received pasta with red sauce. Our waiter told me rather abruptly, that he told me I could not get... More

Have nothing but great things to say: food was great, service was great, prices very reasonable. Definitely recommend making a reservation. We made a reservation and walked right in. It feels like your eating at home, but with a really amazing chef!

Well, I'd love to say this place was amazing but I never got in the door. Apparently they don't like parties of 3. I made a reservation for 3, they knew 3 people were coming but once there it was a problem. They wanted us to sit at a table for 2, but set for 3, basically in the kitchen... More

I am hoping that this particular dinner was an anomaly because I LOVE this restaurant. There were some highlights—the calamari was superb as was the grilled salmon—and ziti dish my husband got was tasty, but the spaghetti carbonara was both bland and very soupy. To her credit, our waitress took it back to the kitchen and the dish that she... More

I live in the north end and this is where I typically tell people to go for dinner. The food is very good and there prices reasonable. The restaurant is quite small so it can be difficult to get in on a Saturday night if you wait to long. Get there around 5-6 on a weekday and you should be... More

Excellent dinner with my daughter at Panza in the North End including wonderful caprese salad starter, and great chicken parm as well as homemade lobster-filled ravioli. Service was attentive, without being intrusive, and felt very authentic for high quality Italian cuisine. Restaurant is small and personal space is very limited -- but food makes it all worthwhile!

Amazing Italian. Husband and I had the caprese salad as an appetizer, shared our dishes of veal picatta and linguini carbonara. Everything was incredible. Very reasonable prices.

THIS IS A CAN'T MISS RESTAURANT! We were going to go another place across the street, but the wait was crazy. Made a reservation at Panza via OpenTable app. Great decision I made during my trip! The atmosphere, food, and wine is amazing! A MUST GO!

My wife and I were looking for a fun place for Italian in the North End and I chose Panza based on TA reviews. They were spot on! Panza is a small place which I thought gave it a more intimate "real Italian" feel. The service was great and the food was truly outstanding. For starters we had the chopped... More

Staying in North End

Neighborhood Profile
North End
Wandering around Boston’s North End can feel like being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s home, and follow the Freedom Trail to Old North Church and Copp’s Hill Burying Ground. Take a rest in a cafe on Hanover street and observe the quirky, European character of the North End.
