Friendly/profesional service, tasty food, excellent value

Visited Panza last week for the first time and had an excellent meal! The menu is typical North End, but very well executed. The space is small and quaint, but not too cramped. Our server was casual and friendly, but very attentive and professional. They had some specials the night we went that... read more

Visited Panza last week for the first time and had an excellent meal! The menu is typical North End, but very well executed. The space is small and quaint, but not too cramped. Be prepared to wait even if you have a reservation but don't give up! The food and service were really outstanding once we got a table. If I went again, I'd probably be sure to show up about 20 minutes before the reservation to get ahead of others who had the same timeslot. Otherwise the food came out quickly and... More

We went in to Boston during a business trip looking for great Italian. Panza did not disappoint. Great food with big portions and a very nice, reasonably priced wine list. There are lots of great choices on Hanover street but Panza is definitely one I will visit again!

Great Italian food in popular Boston neighborhood without having to pay ridiculous prices of most area restaurants. Only problem - for the middle aged: frequently mostly by students who don't care whether you can hear every detail of their conversations. Take into account, since Panza doesn't reserve for two.

Staying at Logan airport for trip west and decided to head into the North End for a meal and were fortunate to get a reservation at Panza. Packed, small restaurant but the reservation was honored on time. Great service with John as our waiter. Every bite of food was excellent. Wife had the special spinach and portobello ravioli with sun... More

I've been to Panza twice. Each time the service was very friendly, the food is great, and the prices are very reasonable, especially for the North End. Love the eggplant parm.

I ate here with several co-workers and we all had something different and all the food was great! I ordered the Linguine Alla Pescatore with Diavolo sauce and sangria and both were incredible. The bread was fresh and delicious. Make reservations as the place is small and gets very busy. Also, be aware they do not split checks so plan... More

Had a 2:00 pm reservation and were seated right away. Calamari was outstanding as a starter. Great rustic bread. Pasta red sauce was very much like my family sauce. But the butternut squash tortellini was to die for. Definitely wold recommend.

Great food at a reasonable price in the North End. My wife and I have been to many restaurants in the North End and this is our favorite and their veal is so tender you can cut with a fork. Their mussels appetizer ( heavy on garlic) is out of this world!

I came here back in September for my boyfriends birthday dinner. I chose here because of the reviews I had seen on another site. Let me just say the reviews definitely did not disappoint! The food was beyond amazing! Real authentic Italian food. My son (12yrs), is very picky but even her enjoyed the food! The portions were large so... More

Staying in North End

Neighborhood Profile
North End
Wandering around Boston’s North End can feel like being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s home, and follow the Freedom Trail to Old North Church and Copp’s Hill Burying Ground. Take a rest in a cafe on Hanover street and observe the quirky, European character of the North End.
