We enjoyed this place better than our fancy anniversary dinner. Misha, the bartender, made me a most amazing Navy Grog. The food was just as good as the drinks. The menu has a slight Polynesian-Asian flair and both our food dishes disappeared. The staff was attentive, the restaurant practiced safe COVID measures, and we felt socially safe and had a great time. Just go, you won’t regret it!

So this place is a bit of a hole in the wall, but once discovered it is near everything. Neatly tucked away near the Customs Tower in Boston, this place was perhaps unassuming upon my first visit here just over a year ago. However they rock it out. The drinks are the main reason to visit. Tiki drinks don't come cheap and in suit this place is on par for the usual prices. I enjoyed my Smoldering Volcano, a bourbon based drink on the menu, but they have fruity options for those that prefer that. The food however might greatly outpace their mixology. They feature an extensive menu... so naturally my wife and I went basic with burgers. The tiki prime burger was a nice offering, full of flavor, albiet perhaps a messy one. Not an inexpensive night out, certainly, 2 people for $78 is steep, but overall a fun experience and we will be sure to return. Mahalo

My wife, son, and I made the mistake of dining here recently and I was going to leave a lesser rating. BUT...after reading Tiki Rock's blurb about themselves which starts, "We craft the finest Tiki cocktails in Boston..." I reconsidered. Truly, the drinks we had - the Classic Mai Tai, Sharkbait, and Sicilian Elixir - were spectacular. Even the Boom Sauce Beer and my son's Pineapple juices were a cut above. Our mistake was thinking that Tiki Rock was a restaurant and not a great bar that served pupus. We had the grilled oysters, tuna crudo, shrimp cocktail, fish tacos, chopped salad, and grilled steak tips...none of which I could recommend. Perhaps we should have kept with the Polynesian theme and ordered the Crab Rangoon and Coconut Shrimp. The service was reasonable and the atmosphere fun. Go, make merry. Just don't dine.

Ate there on 5/11/2022. Regular Wednesday night. Great appetizers! However, horrible services, horrible Entrees. Ordered the Chicken Sandwich, it had more onions than actual chicken, and the sandwich was plain, with no flavor in the chicken at all. My partner ordered the chicken bowl, the same thing. 4 small pieces of unflavored chicken. The restaurant was not busy whatsoever. The server took a long time to greet us and take our order and the drinks too forever as well. She was more focused on one big table of 8 people. And to end the night there was an 18% gratuity added without even letting us know about it. As soon as she left the check on the table, that's when she actually started to check on us constantly. 2/10 experience.

If I could leave a zero star I would. Made a reservation for 10pm. still waited until almost 11pm to be seated. after being seated the service was terrible. extremely packed with tiny table top. music was so loud you couldn’t hear yourself talk. it was so crowded the people were tipping over the table too as me and my boyfriend were trying to eat. My boyfriend asked if the person could move over and the man tried to pick a fight with him. I had to ask security several times to step in. it got to a point that we packed up our food and left because this man kept coming back trying the fight my boyfriend. after waiting for sometime we had to go to the front to pay for our bill to leave. as we were waiting at the front the man came back over to my boyfriend trying to follow him outside. AGAIN i had to ask for security to step in. Trash, do not recommend.

This place has amazing food and service! The cocktails are phenomenal cocktails! This was our last night out of 4-day trip and I was almost nervous that I would not have the famous lobster roll. To my pleasant surprise, this restaurant had it on the menu! It was fantastic! So beyond delicious! With pineapple coleslaw and truffle fries! 🤤 My husband ordered a 12-oz NY strip steak with truffle mashed potatoes. Fantastic dinner and amazing staff! In terms of prices: they are high-ish, but fully appropriate for the location, big city and what they serve. NYC and Toronto are more expensive for these kinds of dishes. Believe me, have been to those a million times.

Had 4 drinks here Sunday (party of 4), approved the check which included an 18% tip they added to the bill. I did not add an additional tip because they already did so. Next day i got an email showing an additional tip was added without my authorization! I called and the "manager" who said he would credit the extra unauthorized money back to my card. Still hasn't been done. Funny how fast they can TAKE your money but it takes so much longer to RETURN it! Here's the thing: I doubt this was the first time this has happened. I would bet anything they do this regularly and most people don't even notice! And by the way, service was lacking and drinks were "meh", definitely not worth $15+!

So I do apologize, I really wish I had gotten the name of the individuals whom helped myself and my wife this evening. After visiting MFA today, my wife and I wanted to visit and get our tiki on. We arrived, unfortunately without reservations, as we had attempted to make some but ran into open table not having any open spots, so I was admittedly ready for some minor disappointment. Got into line 515 or so and waited perhaps 10 minutes before getting to the front desk, and discovered that there was a three hour wait. We began to leave to seek other options. We were stopped steps out the door by a off duty waiter. He stopped us from leaving and rearranged some of the seating, which allowed us to ve seated. I wish I had gotten his name, but he made our night. The waitstaff here is so friendly and welcoming, and went above and beyond. Food was good as usual, but the highlight was clearly our handling by the waitstaff. Class act!

Besides excellent mai tai, the manager Rafael is a reason to pay a visit. He was highly visible and mingling with customers. It was our first night in Boston and he instantly made us feel like family.

Great food & atmosphere. Plenty of indoor & outdoor seating, food was unique & delicious offering something for everyone. Drinks were good & strong. A little pricey but nothing out the ordinary in the city.

We had a fantastic lunch here on the patio last Friday. Tiki Rock has a great selection of craft beers from New England & some really cool Tiki drinks. We had the fish sandwich, wings (A++), tuna tartar & ramen. Service was very good & a fun cool vibe bar to sit outside in downtown Boston.

The Best bar in Boston. We were on our honeymoon. The owner and staff are awesome, friendly, and helpful. The drinks list is extensive and awesome. The cocktails in particular are delicious and amazing. The food is delicious. The ambience is brilliant. Price wise, it's probably not the cheapest but it's no where near the most expensive, in fact we found it more than reasonable for Boston. Can't recommend this place enough

So is English folk are kinda weird and a little reserved in comparison but from the moment we walked in we were welcomed greeted and the bar staff were happy to chat have a laugh and thoroughly entertain us. The manager was a great guy fretting over the election night but he was so kind to his staff and guests. Caesar - this guy is an absolute asset to this bar he was the friendliest guy about and made our night. Well done to you all

Cool hidden gem in Boston. Has NYC village vibes. Cocktails were amazing & the music is very fun. Bartenders & Manager are all very knowledgeable about the drinks & the history behind the names. That was very fun

Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
