I went here for dinner when I heard that they offer a large range of vegan options. I had the seaweed salad which was great but portion was a bit small. I had an eggplant and rice dish for an entree. Portion was huge and it was delicious. Eggplant was perfectly cooked. I did have difficulty communicating with the waiter... More

We had to wait in line for 20 minutes to get a table but once we were seated, the service was very prompt. We ordered the Ban Xeo, spicy beef stew and ginger chicken. The pancake was not quite as I remembered from previous Vietnamese restaurants but tasted fine. The beef stew soup was excellent and the ginger chicken just... More

Visited after reading about the good reviews on TA. Had Vegetarian Thai food. The Quantity and Quality of the food was good. Definitely recommended.

Very good food here. The pho is excellent, some wonderful Vietnamese and Thai dishes that are not always served at other similar restaurants. Pad Thai is okay, not as good as other restaurants nearby, but everything else is wonderful!

This place was super crowded on a Friday night - completely full of students and tourists. But they handle their wait list very efficiently, and the 15 minute wait we were quoted was pretty much on the money. Best of all though, it was worth the wait. If you're a vegetarian, you've probably had problems at Vietnamese and Pho restaurants... More

Been here a number of times. So good to find that they have maintained their quality, quantity and service. Stood in line often, but well worth it. Good size helpings. Three of us ordered four dishes, and when the food arrived, we thought we had ordered. But it was so good, we polished the lot. One of the things we... More

We stuck mostly with Thai. Tea tilapia excellent as was ginger tofu. Big portions. Small bill. That's a winning combo.

The place was packed on Friday night. People were always waiting. Be sure to get your name on the list for a table. There's no check-in station. Ask for the person taking names. My wife's pad Thai portion was large but lacked seasoning. My chan chua shrimp was excellent. Some spiciness but not too much. Thai tea was sweet but... More

I have been coming to Pho Basil for years, and every time I come, it's a great experience. In addition to that, I try something different each and every time I come. I am always pleased with my choice. The menu is very broad, with a wide selection of choices. The restaurant is quite small, but the service is very... More

Came in for a concert that was cancelled at the very last minute due to snow storm. Went across the street to this nice option. Wonderful tastes. Maybe best Pad Thai we have gotten in any of many Thai restaurants in the USA. Very pleasant and professional staff. Good presentation of food.

Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
