Walking from our hotel near the World Trade Center, we found Flour on one of the side streets. Amazing! We ordered some breakfast items, and everything was absolutely delicious. My only regret is that I should have ordered one of their Boston Crème Pies! The wait staff were some of the friendliest Bostonians; and if you want some great bakery... More

I heard about this place on the Cooking Channel and wanted to go once we planned our Boston trip. Great food and a great atmosphere. Get Boston Cream Pie. Best in town.

Flavored are all tempting. Dairy free folks can relax knowing they are not going to have issues. The hot fudge is especially wonderful. Go open minded. Try something new!!!!

It lives up to the hype. Visited twice for brunch over the weekend. The breakfast sandwich with egg, cheddar, mustard, arugula, and bacon is one of the best ever. The apple spice cake rocks with powerful flavor and mouthfeel. Their highly touted cinnamon buns exceeded expectations. Average coffee. Interior in old warehouse very cool with thick exposed wood beams, ductwork,... More

WE came to this bakery because we were looking for a great place to have something for breakfast. We all ordered the breakfast sandwich. None of us liked the sandwich. It had egg, bacon, cheese and something else on it that had a horrible flavor. We definitely won't go back there. Not one of us enjoyed our meal.

The place is charming and when you see the pastries and bakeries you want to try everything. We had a grilled cheese sandwich and a sweet pastry. Both were good. The coffee was marvelous. A place recommended for breakfast or relaxed lunch.

This was a nice place to have a quick breakfast and coffee. Rather than your typical Starbucks. We enjoyed it very much.

We were in the area to see the rooftop scene from The Departed and while looking around I fancied a coffee. I had parked right outside in one of the customer parking spaces. The food looked good, but as I was full I was going to skip it, but I bought my Wife a coconut macaroon which was delicious. The... More

Stopped in just before closing to get a quick bite. The salads, sandwiches and deserts were all resonably priced, we were extremely pleased with what we ordered. Definetly quality food at a great value.

I read about the sticky buns from an article on TVmaps.com where the baker beat Bobby Flay in a throwdown. I understand how they won. This was a great sticky bun. It was not just slathered in sugar like the big chain breakfast shop. The ship was cute. The staff was friendly and it was very convenient to the Boston... More

Staying in Seaport District / South Boston Waterfront

Neighborhood Profile
Seaport District / South Boston Waterfront
This area has been expanding and becoming more and more popular, for good reason. Not surprisingly, the seaport district of South Boston is located beautifully along the water. The area is designed for easy strolling along the HarborWalk, and there are bars and restaurants for all ages and budgets. The Institute of Contemporary Art is located in this area in a contemporary building with an absolutely stunning deck overlooking the water. In the summer time there are Friday music concerts on the deck of the museum. Nearby, there are many green spaces to enjoy.
