Very average restaurant, over priced for regular food. Service was very very poor, their waiters don't even speak english, when we got there at 9pm the time that we had reserved for they did not had our table ready and had to wait standing for 15 to 20 minutes for them to get us a table, the table was not... Came here on a Friday night after hearing amazing reviews about Mooo. We made a reservation and were promptly seated at our table. The service is exceptional, especially our waiter Aaron. He was well versed in the entire menu as well as types and cuts of steak. The cocktails were amazing and the oysters were perfect. We both got different... More

Checked out some reviews, they said live music over brunch and we wanted something with lots of choice for our group! This place was great, initially quiet, which was worrying, but the service was awesome and the food great! Portions were great although we were surprised how large the French toast was when compared to the photos online! Acoustic music... More

Lovely decor and charming attentive staff. We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening but the food was a little disappointing in that the steak for which this is famous was not of a particularly good standard - not the cooking of it but rather the quality ! The appetisers were beautifully presented and equally tasty and the shnitzel was large enough... More

We came here without a huge appetite but still ate every last bite. The ribeye and filet mignon were top notch and the mooo sauce is worth the addition charge. Cauliflower was best I've ever eaten.

We don't mind paying to dine at a good restaurants, but we expect the service and the food to match the price. Food was great. I could have made a meal out of the meatballs. My lobster was on point and the beef Wellington cooked med rare was good but a little dry. The service left much to be desired.... More

The dinner was wonderful and the staff were right on every point of service. The manager was very helpful (when my wife spilled a glass of water) and even got on his knees to clean up. The only downfall is the female bar staff. Early in bartender walked past us at least 8 times without even acknowledging us. If I... More

We stayed at the Beacon for five nights and enjoyed truly excellent breakfasts in the restaurant every day so decided to try it for an early dinner on the last evening. Three things stand out: 1. Fantastic dining room with bustling but relaxed atmosphere 2. The best rib-eye I have ever eaten, anywhere, in the world, ever 3. The waitress... More

We ate at Mooo with friends who had been there before and highly recommended the lobster bisque. The steak we had was good but not exceptional which was a bit of a shame. The biggest issue with the restaurant was the noise level which was so great that it was difficult to hold a conversation with the person sitting next... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
